I did forget that you don't need to give credit to it - and it's luckily pretty chill like that, and I do appreciate it. But let me do a comparison with Star Trek ENT season 3 and STALKER/Roadside Picnic (keeping in mind that Star Trek: Enterprise came way later):
Star Trek: Delphic Expanse, an anomaly-infested area that's different to normal space and expands over time
STALKER: The Zone an anomaly-infested area that's different to normal space expands over time
Star Trek: Different factions (the different Xindi species with different goals)
STALKER: Different factions (yk the factions)
Star Trek: Has one faction (the humans in this case) trying to stop the Delphic Expanses' expansion and the other species in order to save Earth
STALKER: Has one faction (Duty) trying to stop the Zone's expansion and the other factions in order to save Earth
Star Trek: Has spheres that create anomalies and the Delphic Expanse, and were created by "Sphere Builders" who have the ability to manipulate certain aspects of normal space-time. NOTE: Sphere-builders use holograms of themselves to portray themselves in normal space.
STALKER: in Roadside Picnic, the Wish-granter is called the Golden Sphere (I think, but I know there's something about a sphere), and we all know that the Monolith uses a hologram to portray itself in normal space.

And that's just to name a few

There are definitely communist-positive themes in Roadside Picnic, but I think there is a whisper of mockery in those themes that is hard to detect... Imo it is not really for communism, but it definitely has a large anti-west, anti-capitalist theme. This is most prevalent in the reinforcement that Russia is the only country that left their Zone alone, whereas the other countries rushed in to try and capitalize on the dangers present, with almost complete disregard to human life.
It was written when there was a lot of censorship on Russian media, and the brothers who wrote it wrote it in conjunction with one or two other sci fi books and it took years for them to get the trilogy published because of the revisions the government made them do. They were most surprised to discover that Roadside Picnic required the least amount of revisions of any of their stories written during that time.

as it is in CoP you farm artifacts too easy and they are too trash to be usable,so,make anomaly fields sparse,harder to get thru and the rewards less profitable,the artifacts arent good,so you will always have the farming part but you wont be as relient on it,then the good powerful artifacts spawn rarely and sparsely under certain conditions,these sell for a lot,spawn in unexpected places and have good attributes so the player has the need to explore the map to get good artifacts while having an option to be able to farm

A solution would be to make it so all different types of anomalies are everywhere.
