There's basically not that much information to go on atm aside from the "come to me trailer"

GSC just learned their lesson after shadow of chernobyl release. There was too much content in theirs trailers that was cut. There were too much trailers. Game released like in 1/4 state. Lots of things that were promised from trailers were cut massively. Cars, lories, armored carriers with mounted guns, lots of locations, story, weapons, quests, advanced physics, much more better a-life. It felt like only apple core of content left from all promises. That's why they are not showing too much. They don't want to give false hopes. I remember those times watching trailers on local ukrainian channels. And when i had played it for the first time i was wondering where all this shit they mentioned in trailer. Where are those deadly rats piles, where is dead city location that was very atmospheric in trailers, where is trucks that you could drive?

I think there's a weird take with video game people that they don't realize cutting is part of the creative process. Sure, they shouldn't show that in trailers and obviously there is a lot missing in the original STALKER games that they probably intended (i.e. working stealth). It really is part of the creative process (I mean movies cut a ton too). Even polished, widely celebrated games have a lot of cut content. Also there's an issue with people's expectations being psychotic with beloved franchises. (Also not saying I'm really into GSC's style with stuff right now but just throwing out some random rants about development)

GSC aside with S2, I do think the quirks and cut things weirdly made STALKER interesting games and an interesting mix of survival, open world, rpg, imsim, blahblah
