Here's what likely happened. GSC had an agreement with a publisher / producer for the products. the release date delays pushed back the swag production and thus they lost the initial contract, so the 3rd party renegotiated the pricing to be up to date since the old deal expired

and it could be as Vasim mentioned where they produced stock and couldnt keep it in warehouse for free and passed the cost to GSC

either way... you have a few long range guns, keep em at range.. they foolish enough to clump up, use the nade launcher on the F2000....its good at range too.. avalanche...thats the shotgun right? last resort for that one

Theres gear and lvl progression, but newbie area is often camped by high level players etc.. would be good if there was a more.. PVE version of the game
