Don't blame them too much,te shells type must be stored in the RAM and when you load a save file RAM data isn't saved,th engine they were using was pretty subpar and to be honest the fact that they bothered to make a system that allowed to load multiple types of shells in the first place is commendable

@cedar pivot try hunt showdow. Its a lot more casual experience with hardcore elements. Gameplay is hard but forgiving.. you dont need to grind to afford gear and the games are quick

Tarkov began as a hardcore game but still fun, now they have in my opinion ruined it. Intertia which is apparently made to address A+D peak spam is trash, the grind the game needs to have anything remotely good regarding ammo is now unfun and like a real life job. Optimization is very average since it runs on Unity. Server lags and desyncs are constant (probably fixed soon tho, it happens in every wipe). The game's fun 'season' is over and it needs address by the devs but every patch it seems to make it even more grindy and even more chore-based. Streamers enjoy it because its their job, but unless you dedicate a lot of time into it, you wont go far and get good things. The gunplay is really good though. If you want a more arcade but still hardcore (to an extent) game play Hunt Showdown. Bleak atmosphere, cowboy-voodoo horror and actually fun, not requiring you to give up your life for it. Both games need knowledge of maps and time dedication but Hunt is fun, and not a job.

I actually never figured out you could quicksave until I started Clear Sky. Manual saving takes longer but it is way better because you can go back to any save you want and they wont be deleted or overwritten without your consent
