So I pre-ordered S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 on their website instead of on Steam directly. I went with the Card payment and put in my info and did the whole process and triple checked all information to make sure it's correct.

Got a message at the end that saying, "Thank you for your purchase, a receipt with your transaction information will be sent to the email provided." Or something along those lines.

The problem is that I got no email, not even in the spam tab, furthermore no money was taken from my bank almost like I didn't buy it at all. I got the background .zip files but nothing else.

So my question is, did this happen to anyone else and do I just wait? I'm just asking because I really want the pre-order stuff and I don't want to miss them in case my purchase bugged out.

I'm not worried about the money as none was taken as stated earlier, but I really want to pre-order the game etc. So I guess what I'm asking is, does it take a few days to go through? But CoP has dozens of variations of the same dialogue depending on what happens around. Virtually everyone who can guide you anywhere during quest has a separate line if you ask them to do that during an emission.

It's mostly dependent on the map you play on, but back in like 2017 I had around 300 or so and even construct was a laggy mess

also whoever says vanilla stalker runs poorly is a maniac. I can run all but clear sky's swamp above 144 fps 90% of the time at 1440p resolution & max settings, even clear sky swamp sticks around 80 or so.

I wonder if vanilla has so many problems, why is it the perfect experience still? the quests are really boring and are reminiscent of SOC's cordon, run to point a, talk to guy, run to point b, talk to guy, run to point c, kill a guy, rinse repeat. oh get this artifact for me for like 3$, oh get me these obscure food items, get me these mutant parts, etc etc etc. It's just fetchquests and assassinations. the player character has no goal and while I like that for a blank slate character I can try and roleplay and immerse myself into, I'm also not creative enough to really find a continued struggle than just 'lol i want artifacts.' If I'm just to wander around aimlessly finding false satisfaction in doing quests for random NPCs around the map and personality-less new 'leader' NPCs, then yeah, not my kind of game sadly

Truly one of the most exciting experiences ever, and since wealth is easy to acquire in CoP you can even arm these stalkers with absurd things such as RPGs, sometimes i give away the gauss to see what they can do with it
