Found a map concept art(https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/stalker/images/9/9d/Limansk_map_01_08_2007.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20210816114622&path-prefix=ru) which shows limansk as a corridor section just like it was in the game. The interview you mentioned does describe what looks/atmosphere/feeling the devs wanted to create in limansk but doesn't really mention anything about it not originally being intended for run and gun gameplay.

SGI-5k is better, can mount m203 on the underbarrel, only downside is you cannot put a scope on it, but there is a unique variant with a scope on it. stats are just overall an improvement too, although minor. TRs has better handling but not by much, and I don't even know what handling stat even changes to be honest lol

Hello everyone! I am new to the STALKER series and I started playing SoC on Steam, but my game keeps crashing now. I completed the X18 lab and got to Garbage from Cordon, but now whenever I get to a particular point on the main road, the game crashes. I'm basically only using ZRP. Please help. I would like to continue this wonderful game.

well I saw on the moddb some guy also complained about a similar issue, but in the red forest. I couldn't tell you what the issue is but I have no doubt it's something ZRP did to screw things up, and now since the mod is gone, the save file is just broken.

i know the games in their original releases were extremely buggy and prone to crashes but the steam versions are completely fine and perfectly playable, so i don't know what the issue is for everyone else

Well I'm glad you didn't experience any bugs, but right now I don't feel like removing ZRP, playing vanilla another 10+ hours, and then MAYBE getting through this section
