Bandits are just general bandits,they steal from the unaffiliated and stay in gangs,one or more gangs can have truces and alliances and can answer to a guy on top of the ladder like the power dynamics of real world gangs and stuff like that but you usually see bandits doing their own thing
Duty is a faction with the express goal of killing as much mutants as they can to cleanse the zone,they see the zone as a threat to the outside world and seek to stop anything from crawling out
Freedom is a faction that supports that the zone should be "free" and is the antithesis to duty,while duty aims to destroy the zone to keep the outside world safe,freedom maintains that you cant just stamp the zone out with bullets and grenades,you need to study and understand it
the ecologists arent a faction theyre the denominators under which scientists of the government call themselves,an ecologist can usually be found cozied up inside his bunker and most of the times refuses to do work outside of it,thats what stalkers are for
the mercenaries are small squads with very little social ladder or coherence,theyre squads of heavely armed westerners usually but not limited to that answer directly to big wigs and stuff
the monolith are ||brainwashed stalkers that protect the center of the zone||
Clear Sky is a group of ||former The Group scientists that opposed the C-Con and seek to study the zone,theyre pretty weary of outsiders||
The Military aint a faction,theyre the military,they answer to the government and keep anyone from outside from going in and keep any creepy stuff from inside,theyre pretty corrupt as you expect them to be so going into the zone is p easy stuff

The GPU will work only as much as you have designated the FPS Limit,if it is uncapped then it will push itself to its limits to get the maximum,if will use less resources if you don't let it get more than a set ammout of FPS

I was doing a run where essentially I start as a loner, play a bit, then eventually become a mercenary (loner > freedom > Merc) but all was going well then when I was going to join the mercs I got to their base and the vendors were shooting me, but not the guards themselves. well given that it's governed by EA,no surprise there. apparently for the reboot they're gonna have a fully wearable helmet but it will probably reek of factory chemicals and give you a headache when wearing it

last time i pre-ordered something for a higher than retail sale price it was doom 2016 and their advertising was misleading as all hell and collector edition goodies tend to be pretty hit/miss

that is really weird, i dont know. if you got the achievement you should have done everything right. when you beat the game the ending should tell you if you did end up doing something wrong somehow

cuz im pretty sure in the best ending for skadovsk all the bandits end up packing their bags and going elsewhere, not swarming en masse, lol

I'm playing CoP, does anyone know why in Skadovsk, suddenly all Stalkers have become neutral from friendly? I have done all of the side quests and it was fine for a while, bandits were leaving and Stalkers were all friendly, now Stalkers are neutral and Skadovsk is full of bandits, is this a bug or is it meant to happen?

I was helping the Loners 100%, it was fine, bandits left Skadovsk, then after a few days they came back

so this is what happened, the cop scripts are very buggy and it happens to me all the time changes in the relationships with the factions when you help others even if they are not enemies, the green will only remain if you get the achievement, and the bandits must be the result of a spawn event that ended up taking them there due to an emission making them migrate there
