I sincerely believe that, while details have been scarce, they have by no means been absent. We had a lot of details of the plot (the CIRCA challenge), we have an idea of the graphics and mechanics, etc. We just need to see a bit more gameplay. ¡But EY! It's also true that the game won't be released until next year. If you seriously think about the branding strategies implemented by other studios, they all did things more or less similar to what GSC is doing. For example Bethesda showed very, very few details of Starfield until recently, and that's considering it's their flagship. Same with Sony Santa Monica and GoW: Ragnarok. We had the same footage for almost a year and a half, until they started showing a lot more in the last month before release. The thing is, since we knew it was a sequel to the 2018 game, we already knew what it was going to look like graphically and playably. And don't even get me started on Age of Empires IV. Almost nothing was heard about that one until practically a month before its release (I have a friend who is as obsessed with that game as I am with S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and he always tells me that the AoE community were starving for details).
Anyway, given the situation in Ukraine, and that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 still has some time left in the oven, I feel that criticising not having gameplays in large quantities is unfair. I want to clarify, just in case, that it's the game I've been looking forward to the most for years (I started playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. when I was only 10 years old, and today I'm 25...), so I understand the fans. But we must not despair.

I agree with you. The first trilogy had a lack of money and technical means, but Stalker's formula is weird in a sense that everybody understood what was intended, and they "just" need to take every element and improve them, just like the mods tried to do with each time pros and cons.

and since i was accused of not giving reasons earlier i will have to reiterate once again. the multiplayer pvp is not apart of the singleplayer and is completely seperate. you would have to redesign the pvp system to allow for coop or redesign the singleplayer to allow for coop. it's possible, but very difficult and takes a lot of work. it isnt in their plans so they do not have any intention of doing it.
