It doesn't matter, we never see Kalancha and Cold at the NPP so there is enough suspension of disbelief that Clear Sky could have regrouped. Hell you could even say that Nimble and Novikov just swore to never reveal such info given how much time they spent in CS.

I would suggest you google anomaly mods and take a look at it yourself, since it all depends how you want your first playthrough to be. If you want pure vanilla Anomaly, texture mods and shaders are a good start. If not there are a lot of weapon and balance mods you could try

I would recommend u get a weapons mod, BaS is nice because it’s very simple but compatible with everything and it has high quality models and animations. There’s another mod called desolation which is much more advanced but actually changes so much about the game that it’s a little harder to install for someone who hasn’t done it before and there are less compatible addons. It’s very cool tho

Boomsticks and sharpsticks

I recommend u get these two mods called I.n.e.r.t.i.a and t.h.a.p , what they do is 1/ make the camera animation wayyyyy better, 2/ make the hand models some what better

Oh and food drink and drug animations is very nice, a lot of people like Jsrs sound mod. Beyond that I would just look at the most popular addons on moddb and choose ones you like best. Don’t forget to use mod organizer 2, you can download it for anomaly off nexus mods, and there is a guide online on how to use it with stalker anomaly that u can find easily with a google search

Try with a suppressed gun, you would need to 1 tap them tho, also other guards would need to be out of your sight for best outcome

Or you could use an explosive barrel, roll it up to their feet and shoot it

I can see where they are getting the idea. The OG games are old and unappealing to many newer gamers, so Anomaly is just more approachable.

I had a couple of friends quit playing OG STALKER because the gunplay sucks and its just clunky in general.
