In less then a year they have done more improvements to Stalker 2 then Bethesda did to starfield in 2 years xD (Fyi i've bought and played both)
I even looked at MHW (Wilds) And it's going to be till next year that they will maybe improve performance. GSC have been putting in work.
I mean yeah Stalker 2 still def has performance issues, but honestly 90% of the time the game is stable i'd say.

so in stutter 2 it ends up using model 0 (the one thats meant for native AA) for upscaling, and the native AA model doesnt accumilate enough temporally for that
so you get crazy artifacts

worse than XeSS's smear
and i might even prefer FSR 3.1 to it in some aspects

The 9070XT mauls nVidia in Borderlands 4 performance. The 9070xt is like 1.7 fps slower in native 1440p than a 5080... A card that is anywhere between £300 and £700 cheaper, depending on the model, mwahahahahahahahaha!!

I am stupid guys.... I just found AMDs lost Tech/Features. They made Radeon RAY for raytracing in 2016 in that whole bundle there are RADEON VR and True audio Next. One of the features of True audio next/TAN was raytraced Audio.
Sadly only implementation was in to Steam itself and 2016 was also the time where Nvidia was just the king of the hill. So no integration it to games.

And i found all of it because i was researching other tech that Wasnt even related to that.

Unity actually forces developers to develop their systems and has better support for this than UE so it is a lot more flexible than UE

it was already irrelevant for the usecase we are talking, Unity had no chance to capture the Triple A when Epic was already giving artists their products and were pining for automation and things like these, they already dominated the areas on the market that mattered

But 99.9% of AAA is wasted spaff though.

Unity could still have been the go to for others and VR games.

unity still is the go to for VR, Mobile and indie games, more people went to Godot after the mess but Unity by its being still is popular on all of these

And I blame it on gamers for keep handing money over fist to mediocre garbage. Feed the micro-transaction cash cow, justifying the direction of development.

they got flattened because of the per download scandal, however after that they are doing fine

and the engine itself is quite good
