But today, after AMD fix this problem investing more in their drivers team, now AMD cards are like Nvidia cards, having full potential from drivers at launch, witch is a good thing, you do not need to wait a year to reach that potential lol ||btW as spoiler alert - Fine Wine was always a lie it was only AMD drivers team being too slow ||

Dunno what you are on about. My 9070 XT gets faster and more stable with every driver update. Only had one hiccup on the 25.6 driver.

Nvidia drivers however are becoming shittier with every single one they roll out. I know people who still run the 566 driver from december last year because the new drivers suck so bad that they lose performance

But what i am saying, each year i read this nonsens how AMD drivers improve AMD cards so much, yet in reality they can't even compete with Nvidia anymore.
I have Nvidia and i never had problems, looks like only people with AMD Radeon cry more about Nvidia drivers than who owns Nvidia cards from what i seen so far. And that is also nonsense or pure hate, idk.

Nor AMD or Nvidia can make hardware faster only form drivers. The most i seen in 30 years was about 5%-8% top performance gains from drivers, and that because at launch drivers was not as good and improve over time. Drivers do not bring magical performance over night, who believe that must smoke something strong.

I've been using this driver on the 3080 i've upgraded from. I saw fps increases up to 30 in some games. Compared to the newest drivers i've used when i tested the 50XX Cards you actually SEE how bad the new drivers are. I just wished Nvidia would get their stuff together, because the tech is definitely there and i don't get the greed ?! It seems like they looked at Apple and learned how to rip off their customers from them. Really sad, i was on team green my whole life.

And i am on last driver with no problems, so if i have no problems, that means is your PC the problem, not exactly the GPU driver but can be many other reasons to cause a GPU driver problem, idk what you have installed in your PC (like 3rd party programs), how's your OS and many others who can cause a driver crash.

More important whether your CPU supports the amount of lanes you're trying to populate, if your motherboard has the slots for it, you can use them

Save money. Get an 8GB usb and clean install WIndows. It is very easy, i promise! You use the media creation tool to put windows 11 on your usb. The tool tells you what to do, you cant fail. 🙂 Then you restart the computer and boot the usb. Windows setup tells you what to do as well. If it does not boot , go into the bios and change the boot order to your USB as first device. To check PCIE lanes , google the name of your motherboard and pcie lanes 🙂 Usually if you plug another nvme in the second slot it will disable one or two SATA connectors and take the lanes from there.

I will admit, yesterday I was playing and I seen oddly shaped npc walk up over a hill in red forest..closer look revealed them to be 2 bloodsucker lumbering towards me. I slowly go to turn and they cloak and scream. Oh man it was so epic

I played now for 1h stalker and it did give me this itch. This stalker one. Did normal stalker stuff. Got a mission from the bar. Did go to the mssion point. Killed all. Found the new pistol on one of the people that i killed with it half working. Got back to base. Got the money from the mission and repaired the gun.

Again did go out to a near by Stash. Found a guy that needed help from a Poltergeist. Saved him got lot of loot. Then i was at the stash. Hole squat fighting over. Me getting spotted. Hole shootout. Got some 10min fight in. Got the stash and was off back to base.

Oh and got to test out the new Pistol 🙂

Yea 3080mhz is prob where most XTX find them without UV. Vram is also the same. 2700 is the max you get basically for most XTX GPUs. Some better ones get also 2730ish clocks.

Compared to my 4070Ti-S it’s a wild and massive increase in OC headroom, so far IIRC the 5080 has been determined to be one of the better overclocking cards recently, even beating out the 9070XT

I have seen someone run their 5080 at nearly 3400mhz on the core in a synthetic benchmark but I doubt that would be stable for very long, both in benchmarking and gaming

I've been running it for a year without any major problems for a wide variety of titles. It gets finicky when you want to ultra mod a game, but you can still do it without much trouble.

I have FSR 4, it's a command you type instead of the Adrenaline Software. It also supports Frame Gen, Antilag 2, etc.

There's a list of about 80 games that have Linux banned, which is not the majority. Typically these games are online PVP shooters such as Valorant, COD, Rainbow Six, Escape from Tarkov, etc.

Not all of them are banned however, such as Marvel Rivals, The Finals, Dune: Awakening, etc.

Most people make a small partition specifically to play Windows games alongside Linux, though it isn't required if you don't like competitive online shooters (such as myself).

Even thought in the end it should be devs responsibility to fork the engine to suit their needs properly

Unreal Engine 5 is a fairly poorly made engine but it just isn’t helping how much the developers are pushing the engine for this game.
