Is not what i heard, i can't even find a number of how many CPUs died for 7000 series on the internet like i found for 9800X3D with ASRock. With 9800X3D we know is 108 cases of dead CPUs, mostly on ASRock.

Does anyone have any performance tips for update 1.5?

Gameplay wise my FPS ranges from 40 in populated area's to 60 in the zone with occasional peaks but there can be noticeable drops.
Cannot run FSR since that crashes my game every once a while, although that gives me a solid 20fps boost.

Last time I played was on release where the game had to be milked with frame generation and input latency to have playable FPS.

Steam has got better performance metrics and can show you your frame gen frame rate and your actual frame rate before any fg, if your fps is lower than 60 then you'll feel the latency

Depends on what you like, if you want deeper blacks you go for VA, if you want better accurate colors you go for IPS. The problem with IPS is the back light being bad in dark scenes, making the black look gray.

I only use IPS once and i did not like it because of that reason you can see in the picture i post.

Not whey you use Fast HVA, but on cheap VA panels vs cheap IPS panels i will go VA all the way not to have glow making all my games dark scenes in day light.

I use to have a LG IPS panel, many years ago, i was playing Read Dead 2, and each time the game went night i got that glowing effect who made me get rid of the monitor in the end.

But all this is mostly preferential. Depends what you hate more, the glow or the ghosting who can be fix on VA by reducing the panel response time in display settings from fastest to fast (this was the fix for one of my VA panels from Dell).

Zero mods, running i9 11950H, RTX 3060 6GB, 32GB ram. I know that vram is on lower end with only 6GB. But running everything on low has been playable with all previous patches and very minimal crashes thru 300hrs playtime. Only recently with patch 1.5 I noticed frequent crashes around Duga area and other areas around the map.
