I notice I cant use official fsr4 toggle in stalker 2. Guessing bc its game pass version. But usually they say "unable to add to adrenalin. No permission" stalker 2 added but no fsr4 option. So I use optiscaler

But even then, it is doing the same thing oblivion remaster does. If i use anything other than fsr native AA, I turn and foliage gets very noisy artifacts for a second then disappear

What i like about my TCL QD Mini LED 34" panel is that is Fast HVA with over 1100 dimming zones with a panel who can do over 1400 nits for HDR (far brighter than any OLED on market).

Mine is 1150 nits only 336 dimming zones. But the updated model is 1200 nits 1152 dimming zones. Same 1440p 180hz 27" as mine. Roughly same price under $300

RTNGS I read says SDR is a lot better on mine and the updated model has worse VRR flicker and Black smearing. But heck id be okay with that in exchange for 1152 dimming zones and 1200 nits

S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 is quite CPU heavy, just something to keep in mind. My 7800x3D doesn’t necessarily “struggle” but the utilization is definitely noticed on metrics.

The answer to your question is often location based though. 9700x will preform the same as a 9600x in gaming applications just so you are aware of that. If you are U.S.A based I’d go for the 9600x. This doesn’t take into account S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 specifically though as it’s a little unusual when it comes to CPU usage as we’ve all come to know rather well. I’m going to try and find that information for you.

9060xt is on par with a 7700xt. It’s a great chip but it’s not the fastest and this game is pretty heavy on hardware in general. Just something to consider.

Nah PAris test is on HW lumen. They turned that on vs SW lumen. That means they had gains in HW but not in the SW side.

You can try Radeon Image Sharpening in adrenalin. I usually use it all times at 20% or so. Imo it really helps clean up image quality while gaming

The game is not great when it comes to CPU optimization. They just need to work on that.

Uhhh…I thought they had more. Maybe I had it backwards.

Regardless AMD just falls on gaming GPUs but I’m hoping that’s going to change. Despite that I love my 7900xtx, it’s dummy fast.
