The 9800X3D + RTX 4080 Super and 32GB DDR5 no issues for me. No crash, no stutters, no low FPS, all very strong now, all i have to do is to disable Nvidia overlay or delete Nvidia app. This is the cause of gaming instability in case you use a Nvidia card.

Not really what ? Nvidia app is a piece of shet. Nvidia drives went down hill since this bullshet app appeared. In most cases need to delete it to have a peace gameplay without any crashes in games such Stalker 2.

On Reddit people talks about this problems for half a year now and Nvidia did not fix anything.

To fix it is to disable overlay or delete it, there is no other way to deal with it.

Even the AI tell you this now if you ask him what to do if you have games crash with Nvidia video card 🤣😅😂 This app is a total joke.

He is that type of guy who thinks Nvidia is perfect in all they do expect they don't. All internet is talking about how bad Nvidia App is for gaming, eating frames, crashing games, but not for Pleb.

For me, for example, if i enable Nvidia overlay in Nvidia App, Stalker 2 starts to freeze and crash. Without it enable, i play 4-5 hrs with no freeze and crash. I first blame the game, but i was wrong, the game was ok, the Nvidia App was the problem.

First, why do you want to do that? Video editing/streaming?
You are gonna need to manage the drivers, depending on your mobo i can also do a distribution of lanes for your main gpu at x16 and your other gpu at x4 (it can also make both go x8 making them both unable to use their full potential)

You can do it but it will be a headache tho (more because having amd and nvidia drivers at the same time is eugh)

Read more about the problems then, because there is two types of problems with this; one being the overlay and second being the full App where you must uninstall it. Some have only overlay problems (like for my example with Stalker 2) and some have to uninstall the App in total to fix the problem, and yes, the Nvidia App is a problem, no denying there.

So yeah, QD-OLED burn in is real if you do not use special screen servers and pixel refresh and all the annoying things to prevent this from happening sooner. If you do not use that, in top 6 month burn in is starting, that fast.

WoW intel just made out of my Intel boxed CPU a tray one.

New Warranty for Case they call it in the warranty description that was opened by them and closed by them without one word.
I was telling the issue i having and they asked me to disable the Turbo on the CPU i did and it stopped crashing. They told me it was a classic Intel issue for 14th gen.
Forgot to write back and the case was closed so i opened new one for all my details so i can sent it to them for the replacement. But the heck no it gets closed without 1 word and they do this shit and degrade my Boxed cooler to a Tray one.

Last time i use Intel was i7 8600K i think was named and after that i only use AMD Ryzen CPUs.

I did not found the price/performance to justify buying Intel anymore once Ryzen was on the market. And this is how Intel died for me.

For me, it was after my Pentium 133 (never went P2 or later). I went to AMD Duron, then Athlon, then Phenom (720 BE X3 - unlocked the 4th core and was cooking with that CPU for 10+ years), and now Ryzen 5. Price per performance was always in favor of AMD for me. It gave me (and still does) the performance I needed and wanted at a very reasonable price. My Ryzen 5 3600 was $150 at Microcenter in July 2020.

Yea pretty much bad decision to take intel. Bought it cuz 2022 it had the best performance better than the 7950x and cheaper so it was good deal and future sounded good with it getting 3rd gen on the lga1700. Tho I couldn’t see that it’s gonna be a refresh.

Then AMD dropped X3D line and intel issues came up so It was after a worse deal than going actually with a generally inferior 7950x

Samsung Magician makes it super simple to copy/clone nvmes. I had a 500gb NVMe in my 1st slot, thew a 4tb in my 2nd and the software cloned it. Took my 500gb out and thew the 4tb into slot 1.

Intel does both sides good at lower Price while for AMD you need to pay 700$ for a CPU that can do same in Productivity and better in Gaming.

Hey. The game won't launch not matter what I try, and it's been like this since 1.4. The game always crashes due to running out of video memory (5080btw). It bypasses this crash uppon a second launch (as it has always done), but then crashes whenever I load a save. It always does this instantly, without trying to load anything.

Tested yesterday with my usual setup, again got RAM bug, filled all my 64 gbs of ram and the game freeze, in large urban areas the game still uses 60-70% of my 5090 even tho settings are maxed out, outside urban areas the game runs at 95-99% usage...while my CPU is 20-30% usage most of the time

It seems that, for me, if i have fsr on, and its on quality or less, the gpu power draw is max 150W, usually around 90 W. However, if I put it on native AA or disable it completely, my gpu then draws around 230-240 ish W, which is more expected, giving better performance.
