The Link hub takes a PCIe 6-pin for power. Most of their other stuff is just SATA though, yes.

Every connector bundled up in my case is sata with one 12 pin. Nothing else that isn’t plugged in. Other than other flat ones that kinda look like sata but little different

I found this one on their site in warehouse section. Same exact model number as mine but it has (v2) at the end. And it only has 2x 6+2 connector shown in specs. But this one says 24 pin. Mine don’t have 24 pin it has 12 pin. I’m so confused

can currently run the game at like 30-45 fps with a graphics "mod" on, without its more like 35-50.

Works great for that, until Windows decides the iGPU is the primary for some things randomly. And when you realize a secondary display off your dGPU isn't "stressful" in any real way that matters (running a 4K120 primary and 1440p165 secondary on my dGPU. Used to use my 7800x3D's iGPU but it was just cleaner to disable it and manage everything in one place)

I also noticed the black bars since January where I tested to record in 1080p and yea it’s broken never noticed since I play on 1440p and also record with that resolution.

But it’s very subtle since it’s just 2 pixel left and right. I would not buy Radeon for AV1 at 1080p recording or encoding.
Basically it’s 1920x1082p.

Both NVIDIA and AMD handle VRAM compression differently. NVIDIA is more efficient than AMD and just because 1 or 2 games cant run max settings doesnt mean much. Its a 4K card at best, not an 8K card

Even if the Nvidia GPU allocates less it’s mostly 2-0.5gb game to game and half of the games that I counted are over 17gb on a XTX.

That’s why I wrote it that way so there is no confusion. But it doesn’t matter cuz the 1% low will be still affected.
The gpu still needs to take stuff out and allocating is the more useful metric to see how much the gpu actually needs. It’s like having something near your hands and working on it and at the same time trying to take a paper from your desk corner. It’s inefficient even if it’s not much movement. You will see that in the benchmarks.

well i'm guessing your probably hitting a vram limit which could cause things to get messy. can try turning down textures, or whatever else effects its usage.

i've only ever got to i think 12gb at a certain location, usually only 10-11 in the normal settlements. on the highest settings. so yeah, the game doesnt need a crazy amount to begin with, but it could help you to turn it down if you can.
