I want to know why in some games frame Gen works good but other it looks noticeably worse. Like in this game it works great imo. Much smoother experience (at least on my system) but other games artifacts are everywhere and smeary look to the game. Just bad optimization/implementation?

and i have never found a single game that looked blurrier with FG (not fLame gen)

I use dlss frame Gen maybe it is a noticeable difference bc some games are using dlss 4 and some are using 3.8. Idk but stalker looks a lot better than most with FG on. It is unbearable to play with it off. 60-70 fps feels like 30-40. Soon as I hit dlss quality + FG it is smooth as silk

But then in cyberpunk (before dlss 4) it feels trash regardless unless I have 80+ fps. With or without frame Gen doesn’t matter. Anything lower feels like 20 fps I don’t get it. I used to be perfectly fine with 30-60 fps but now it feels weird and awful

here's what FSR 4 needs to do (IMO) :
-have better fine detail reconstruction than XeSS
-it has to be at least as sharp as FSR 3.1
-remove FSR 3.1's dissoclusion artifacts
-FSR 4 has to handle things that it doesnt get motion vectors for (also applies to FFI)
-be as stable as DLSS CNN
-work on all FSR 3.1 games
i might be missing some things but this is all i could think off

The game world is MASSIVE and it is so beautiful. I am so surprised how fun this game is. Definitely try it if you like action adventure rpg. It runs so good too it’s rare to find new game that looks good and runs well and fun to play

With the price getting jacked up for the 5070 Ti from $750 MSRP to $1000, it's definitely not worth it depending on what generation you're coming from. Definitely going from a 4000 to 5000 is not worth it regarding the price/performance measurement. It's less than %20 improvement vs the cost. nVidia is no longer a gaming GPU company. They're all about AI and selling to data centers and corporations. We can only hope that AMD can take advantage of this, as well as Intel. Otherwise, PC gaming will no longer have a good budget area and will be only for the high spenders. This could force more people to consoles.
