Well yes but the timings are 50% slower. i mean thats no wonder but mostly thats not what is gonna happen you can get Higher Clock speed and lower Timings at the same time.

I really cant tell why some CPUs are slower. I would say cuz its day 0 with not the day 1Patch we got that day that the scheduling was messed up. So CPUs with Ecores and more than 8 Cores are having that problem

I have the 3600,32Gb and 7900GRE. Outside of cities I almost get 60fps. If settings can disable, I disable it. Other then that settings is on high. I don't use upscale technology because I don't want ghosting.

Because the systems GSC have used for lighting and LODs are incredibly CPU intensive if left unchecked (which they have) and NPCs do constantly seem to be getting logic calls, instead of defaulting to an idle state

If I remember correctly, your CPU is needed for the upscale technology needed to make the game look right because you can't just switch on anti aliasing. And everyone, just once. Switch off the upscale technology and tell me if that looks right. Inquisitor martyr, deeprock galactic, cyberpunk and bl3 I can run without anti aliasing and it looks right.

i have come to update chat on what upgrading from a really dialed in 12900k to a 9800x3d that has pbo and curve optimizer thrown at it does

uhhh, in stalker? no noticeable difference in average fps, 1% lows seem a bit better but honestly its hard to say. in the other games i play theres a pretty large difference but if youre rocking a 3090 or lower performance card the 9800x3d will have little to no impact on stalker 2

As an owner of AMD's 7800 XT, I'm telling you that you don't want to go with AMD if you want to play games like Stalker 2. These games are getting ridiculously poorly optimized for what they offer and upscaling is needed beyond 1080p. The thing is the upscaling quality on AMD is poo-poo. The game looks like a blurry mess on my 1440p screen. If Nvidia was not a potential firehazard to my house I would already be using the 40- or 50- series...

Or at least you don't want to get anything from AMD lesser than 7900 XT or 7900 XTX so you can try playing in native resolution with some spare performance headroom for antialiasing.

Not FSR4 support, that's RDNA4 only at launch

as its no longer software/driver driven, but instead hardware accelerated via machine learning on RDNA4 (similar to what Nvidia has been doing for 4+ years now)

True upscaler come down to how much Detail it can retain and how much it doesn’t artifact. The sharpness is set by u. Even DLAA uses auto sharpening in movement.

yeah, here's what FSR 4 needs to do (IMO) :
-have better fine detail reconstruction than XeSS
-it has to be at least as sharp as FSR 3.1
-remove FSR 3.1's dissoclusion artifacts
-FSR 4 has to handle things that it doesnt get motion vectors for (also applies to FFI)
-be as stable as DLSS CNN
-work on all FSR 3.1 games
i might be missing some things but this is all i could think off
