Oh I changed gpu In my old pc. Went from 960 to 1070. I just unplugged 960 and plugged in 1070 lol no idea if I did it properly but it worked for 8 years and is still working to this day. But that is only thing I have ever done

Sorry this is random but Is anyone here familiar with MSI center specifically mystic light? It was working fine for couple months then after most recent windows update it all of a sudden stopped detecting motherboard RGBs. Only shows dram

its the only mod for 4gb vram cards that actually make the game playable

there are fps drop in stalker bases but its playable, it drops to 8 fps for like 1 sec, in the wild i get high fps

i have
GTX 1650 4gb vram
16 gb ram
amd ryzen 3550h
and i play on low settings 1080p
everything works fine but in bases i get high fps drops but u can play with that
u can lower the resolution in bases to get better performce

and game looks kinda good if you're worry about the graphics ( at least for me ) @uneven portal
if you gonna check this mode let me know about performace in bases cuz im kinda curious if only i have those fps drops
i think after 1.1.4 patch i have even better performance tho

I truly despise that they're still encompassing multiple technologies under one name, but not all of the sub tech applies to all cards or games.. anyway. If by DLSS4 you're talking about the new Transformer model for SR and RR, until its added to games directly by their intendent developers, it will need to be forced over through the Nvidia app on a per-game basis.

Only some games this will work with as they need to be whitelisted by Nvidia.

I think people aren’t aware that STALKER has far more optimization issues than Cyberpunk did at launch. The exclusive use of Lumen and its implementation, which is still unfinished according to recent statements, means the game has a long way to go.

parts of FSR was "loved" by budget gamers because it supported everything. FSR4's benefits, at least most of them, will require RDNA4 cards as its no longer entirely software driven. Hence locking it out for the majority of people. So basically what Nvidia does with DLSS.

Furthermore, RDNA 4 GPUs are expected to feature FP8 WMMA (Wave Matrix Multiply Accumulate), a technology designed to accelerate AI-based applications, which appears to be a core requirement for FSR 4’s functionality.

I swear performance mode dlss on cyberpunk even at 1080p looks great for me with Ray tracing. It looks so blurry and trash before but now it is clear and smooth. Tbh I only use Ray tracking so I can use path tracing in photo mode lol

I have a GTX-1660 which is based on the same turing chip the RTX-2000 series use. It can "play" the game, but Unreal Engine is not that nice to mine nor the RTX-2000 series. They are considered old now. My GPU came out in 2019 I believe. It is what it is. I upgraded to the 1660 from a GTX-560.
