however. in 2 they made the guns more on a tier system where they do not have enough damage nor armor penetration to do the same

Nice graphics apart from the lighting, it really makes me apreciate seeing the Zone in such beauty, and its nostalgic to see all these old locations in this new light.
Gunplay is indeed nice
Gameplay is generally fun without the bad things i mentioned.
The AI is fun, i can follow them around the map and we'd go on raids, kill mutants, pass by anomaly fields. Its fun.
A tons of new cool artifacts, and being able to hold them in your hand is really cool
Playing guitar by the campfire
Being able to sit by the campfire really beats crouching by the campfire like i did in the triology.
Throwing bolts through windows, absolutely peak.
They brought mutant parts back
Nice item use animations.
Lots of choices to make throughout the main story and side quests.

The new weapons too. Very nice
