Wow! The zone has improved SO much since I last played :D fine tuned my HDR settings and man this game's atmosphere is unmatched

And even in Zalyssia I was getting 75 - 85 fps at epic settings FSR Native AA 1440p :D

Bummer to see that the bug of stick deadzone randomly defaulting to 20% on Xbox is still an issue, this has been present since at least December when I reached out to GSC support regarding it.

I got a message about a month ago that the team has identified the issue and is working on a fix, but then one 3 days ago that the team is continuing to investigate the issue and will hopefully be fixed in future patches.

Sucks but maybe this is one of those things that would only cause an issue again with engine upgrades, so better to just fix it after vs. fix it twice. I am appreciative that GSC Support has reached back out to update on progress, even if it hasn't been fully solved yet.

Similarly there has been another minor input bug present since around then that I'd brought to GSC Support, this one having to do with controller and m+kb canceling each other's inputs out or should say more accurately, locking out inputs from the other is activated when navigating the backpack.

I know this is a very niche use case; I mostly actually play with controller, but still have mouse + keyboard in front of me & I tend to prefer those for fluidity of inventory management and menu navigation. In the past I had been able to press down on the d-pad to bring up my inventory and then swap to the mouse to navigate, but now unless you open the inventory with the I key, the mouse will not work. If you open the backpack via the controller button you can only use it with controller now, the cursor will be wholly disabled.

GSC support had the following to say regarding this: It seems that in our effort to fix UI prompt flickering (where the game rapidly switches between "Press A" and "Press E"), the update inadvertently made the input detection too aggressive. Now, instead of allowing both devices to coexist, the game essentially "mutes" the mouse the moment it detects a signal from the controller, and vice versa.

Since this functionality worked prior to 1.7, we treat this as a broken feature rather than a new request. I have forwarded your report to our Xbox QA and UI teams so they can look into relaxing the "exclusive mode" constraints in menus.
Thank you for pointing this out. We will try to restore that seamless switching in future updates.

Another very minor QoL issue, probably 1% of players would even notice but if you are in this particular niche, it has become a nuisance. Always great to hear specific details from GSC support & hope this is similarly fixed going forward.
