The rule of thumb for this game is, if you can see them, they can see you. Stealth in this game has to be played smart, bushes and shrubs help, but eventually they will see you.

Haven't got to that part yet, Faust wasn't really as hard as people said he was but I knew what I had to do

When I went for the achievement to let him help me off the edge and had to reset the fight I even oneshot him with an RPG somehow

If you go with their choices earlier in the game it's shown to you that they are reliable people; if they wanted to throw a random loner to the wolves they would've done it much sooner with you, they also don't "put you down" when you start shooting shit up with the wish granter scenario

For my playthroughs, since the permas are all same path, for learning purposes, I go Ward to Sirrca, then Spark, and end up Ward at the very end. Skif is a soldier at the end of it all.

Just look at the way Skif treats the Duty Colonel in Garbage when he speaks to him. SO MUCH disdain for that man calling himself one. Skif legit respects Colonel K

Great quest. Heck, there is some really hidden stuff. In Bloodsucker Village, if you go to the spot with the NPC with some well done parkour.. You find out he has a skull collection. The Pied Piper is using the pseudo to kill stalkers, and he takes there stuff, or at least, I like to think that.

completely depends on settings. Anomaly is base for gamma. Gamma is basicaly just Anomaly with addons. It has some graphics addons, some gameplay, and etc. So logicaly, Anomaly should on its own on base settings run better, bcs it doesnt have them. But of course, if you cranck the settings up, it wll run horrible

The way it work is, that you download anomaly and you can change some aspects with further addons/mods to your playstyle. Gamma is just Anomaly with setlist of mods to give you specific gameplay. There are others like that, like Escape from Prypiat forexample. But in the end, its all just Anomaly with more mods

Gamma gives you some graphics addons. Change to balistics. Change to loot system, progression system. Change to health damage system. And tons of other stuff. IT makes it more hardcore and survival. Escape From Pripyat makes it more simmilar to EFT, its more harcore for fights and etc, but its not that survivalish. Also with better graphics. And there are tons of other modpacks. Its overwhelming to try to choose one, when you are completely new in it. It entierely depends what you want from it. In the end, Anomaly is sandbox, which you can tweak and modpacks just gives you specific gameplay and basicaly changes the game even more from normal Stalker. Thats why ppl are saying, that Gamma is not Stalker. Bcs its very different. Its kinda same, but not.

Also, ppl here are mostly joking about hating anomaly. But they deffinitely dont like a lot of gamma players, bcs they started to roam Stalker places and they are pushing for changes in Stalker, that were never there, bcs they like different kind of gameplay. And its also kinda funny, when someone tells you about somthing, that was in "ogs" and the things the person is saying was never there, but they dont know it, bcs they only played gamma
