I like Stalker 2, I think it's good, but it has very clear and noticeable performance issues even today and with good systems. Hopefully those are fixed in the sumer but we'll see

Most people here played the originals; from what I’ve gathered, so they are a bit judgmental on Stalker 2. Stalker 2 is the first entry I have played in the stalker series and I am having a lot of fun on it. Master Difficulty is where you wanna be. Enemies take more damage but so do you. Same with mutants. Traders are expensive so it pushes you to explore, find better gear/loot, utilize different weapons. Master difficulty makes the gameplay slower and more immersive but that is my opinion

After playing with lootable/craftable, new start debug and free play mod, it is hard for me to go back to the “original” stalker 2. I might when the DLC drops

I’ve watched plenty of videos on the originals and such but other than enemies spawning directly behind me; when I first played it last year, and did not pay attention to any real difference in npc behavior. But I am well aware that not having played the originals means I lack the “feel” of how npc behavior used to be. I downloaded Shay’s Living Zone and noticed only a few different things. Like enemy NPC’s communicated better and worked to flank the target. The base game merely had all of them shooting from cover and never really moving. Is that a small type of change that you are talking about?

NPCs have a lot more different behaviours in the trilogy along with difficulty settings making the enemy smarter instead of tankier

TTKs were a lot faster for both you and the enemy iirc

which meant peaking over cover was a lot more risky

And different factions did combat differently. Bandits were most of the time unorganized while Duty was pretty lethal and tactical. Mercenaries were actually dangerous. But from stalker 2 they seem to act and combat all the same

Given the nature of the fact it's a f-cking war I assume he will comment on his own time in war back in Ukraine.

Hello everyone, pls help. I restarted my Stalker 2 in Steam(PC). O downloaded some mods from community and now i have a problem. I completed quest to leave start location and went to Malachite quickly. At first I found a guy for fast travel at the Chemical Plant, but he was standing strangely and there was no dialogue for fast movement. Then I went to Malachite and everything is the same there. The merchant, repairman, doctor, guide are standing in the wrong place (the woman is also standing). The Malachite guide also does not have an option for fast movement around the zone. Then I went to Yaniv and there is the same problem.

Also. The description shows that his time wasn't exactly fun. So I imagine he saw some bad stuff. He would have been a soldier during the 2014 war and that war from what I've heard was brutal. Also the fact he had a honorary PM shows he definitely went through some shit and came out very well on top.
