I dunno that they have given any sort of expectations on that yet. I think you can find in-a-vacuum numbers for UE in general out there but no clue how those translate to the actual game

Honestly, I don't expect anything from GSC, but the engine update will allow modders in the event that GSC doesn't do so to optimize the game to a certain extent and improve the visual quality related to Lumen and Nanite meshes.

Half of the optimization comes from a reduction, mainly in the amount of vegetation. Of course, there were optimizations related to the NPC population, but in other areas there hasn't been a significant change in frame rate. I downloaded version 1.0 to check it out, and I have the benchmarks.

The UE update will deffinitely bring improvemenets, only question is how much. Need to note, that even just patch 1.7 increased perfomance like by 25% for low end specs (benchmarked by Digital Foundry), without any UE update.

Upgrade from standard to ultimate without sale costs 60 USD/Euro. Season pass has to make sense, so 2 DLCs will cost same or more. You get more, than just DLCs from ultimate edition, so it can cost same, aka 30 euro, or more.
