Economy is broken via the values of things not being justified or realistic, for example for a gun trader will not pay a single koupon for 9x18, but in older stalker games, master difficulty 9x18 is worth 11 per stack and in stalker 2 it's worth nothing at all but a buy price at 124 per bullet, make that make sense

IMO extraction mode fits stalker universe incredibly well. Master difficulty with expedition mode on is basically solo extraction shooter.
But I find it interesting that there is almost the same amount of people on the internet that say otherwise.
I did a poll on reddit asking people whether they want extraction/extraction or other MP mode/only other MP mode/no MP at all. All options had almost the same amount of votes, except the last one (no MP at all), it had like 4x more votes than every other option. So people just don't like MP xd

It's funny, unless GSC changed something, I didn't know until more than a year later that radiation protection artifacts don't buff your resistance against radiation like a suit of armor does, they only slowly purge it off, or negate radiation from other in-use artifacts from accumulated if they're strong enough.

Meaning if your suit give you 1 bar of rad protection, a Liquid Rock won't give you another.

After extensive playing of stalker 2, I have figured out why we don't get a gun pointed to our face by random friendly stalkers

The ones that are roaming the zone randomly and not fixed, they are just technically placebos, placed around the map to make the zone feel alive but as they are patrolling they can phase right through you and act as if you are not there, now the other stalkers that are in fixed locations are solid and cannot phase through you at all, but will react immediately and point a gun in your face if you are in their way or have a gun pointed to them

Like it's weird to explain, they become a solid object when they fight or loot something, or chill at the campfire

But while patrolling they are just canon fodder until the next fight happens

I believe that choice was for to improve performance

I believe next update will improve AI behavior a lot

There is currently a "Last known location" thing going on, but the AI tracking is overlapping that so I believe that should be tuned down a little so you can escape their sight and be okay to Flank and not be tracked through wherever direction you go

Alright so basically everytime I respawn after death it takes me back to the beginning where you wake up being chewed on by the blind dog and richter explains the bolts. No matter how far I’ve gone or what I was doing does not matter how, how many times, or where I save my game. It brings me all the way back and I have to redo the entire thing and cutscene.

anyone else been having issues with stalker 2 crashing, recently got back into the game after a gpu upgrade and i keep getting the same crash after 1-3 mins of playing and ive tried reinstalling the game, removing all mods, changing settings, reverting my gpu overclock but nothing seems to work, the error code is "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION" if ur wondering

Try these , I got same warning and crash after several minutes. Mine is kind of memory size related.

• Delete all files in folders %localAppData%\Stalker2\Saved\Config\Windows and %localAppData%\Stalker2\Saved\GameSettings, as well as entire ~mods folder from game directory S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Heart of Chornobyl\Stalker2\Content\Paks.
• Also check this folder for custom files.The easiest way would be to sort the folder by date/name and look for files with the words Mod and similar.
  Unsubscribe from all mods in Steam Workshop if applicable
• Delete cache file Stalker2_PCD3D_SM6.upipelinecache from location %LOCALAPPDATA%\Stalker2\Saved\
• In the end ensure that you game integrity files was validated after latest patch: https://support.stalker2.com/hc/en-us/articles/29872460435857-How-to-Verify-Game-Files-on-Steam

I’m kinda angry GSC even released this crap yet the amount of issues I’ve heard across the board and then MY issues is like they just half baked the game and charged full price. Helldivers 2 was 40$ and I’ve had absolutely zero issues and have had the time of my life playing. If GSC was gonna bull crap their way through development they coulda charged a whole lot less

ive deleted the config/windows files along with game settings and the ~mods folder, im checking the paks file but only see global and pakchunk files are all these standard as the date for all of them is today as i did a fresh install today and none of them have the word mod in them

i dont blame you it is annoying when you buy a game and have issues with it regardless, but as for a steam refund still try ur luck ive been able to get a few refunds for games ive had a lot of playtime on but they only seem to do it when there are actual issues with you playing the game so give it a go

the gameplay is great it helps me fill that realistic feeling shooter without making me go back to the abusive relationship i have with tarkov or something, but let it simmer for a while wait for new updates and give it another go you wont be locked out of playing the game forever

Had that problem too, it's a combination of your monitor and HDR settings, just do not mess with your "Black point" in HDR settings as it will completely make your screen impossible to see
