There are mods to increase animation speeds for many of those things if you so desire, but I'm definitely grateful the vanilla state of gunplay is slower more deliberate feeling more like HLL/RoN vs COD/BF.

Does anyone recall the animation speeds in base Red Dead Redemption 2 as compared to if you'd played Read Dead Online? A later overhaul update went & just sped everything up from reloads to skinning animals because of similar complaints, that just ruined the way the game lol felt like you went on youtube & slapped it on 1.5x speed

I can understand the sentiment about wanting to perform certain actions like reload or heal while sprinting, but mostly think the pacing of these animations tends to fit the rest of gameplay well. I sure wish enemies had to deal with jams though

I had this issue couple of times, pressing that key makes the loot menu pop up again

I feel it GSC truly wanted to keep us out of Pripyat they could easily have a narrow rad kill boundary along the train except for the legitimate entry point as they do in many other locations for the sake of making them inaccessible, they may patch the popular YouTube ones to curb it some, but there will always be tricks & new methods

Going there is a major turning point in the story, locking some side quests if they haven't been completed prior and greatly increasing how dangerous the entire Zone is. and they tried that out in the first 2 levels

the Caspian level is cool but i think it was not full realized

then after that they just scrapped the idea of open levels completely and went back to entirely linear levels

Caspian has so much weird cut stuff like the side quest with the baron that just ends abruptly and has no consequences or some locations being locked or unifnished
And then you have the valley which is so unfinished you can climb out of bounds and see a collection of assets devs made with cut content its like a museum (cut armor and enemies for example) also both valley and novosibirsk are entirely linear which makes sense for novosibirsk but does not make sense for the valley

Atomic heart is pretty mid, fun game at first but gets extremely repetitive as the creative ways you can take down robots, get so bland because of the 4 abilities you get

Atomic Heart was fun BioShock-like if you are into that gameplay, my biggest issues with it were power scaling feeling like by less than halfway of the way through the game, I already had everything I was using through the endgame just by exploring the segmented open areas to the fullest
