Loners, Bandits and Mercs all share the same "problem" of not really being single unified factions with a single leader. Instead, they're all made up of either individuals or smaller groups with their own individual leader. They do generally share certain characteristics or behaviors amongst each other, but everything is on a very case-by-case basis with these factions.

yes and no... I mean, the game is set in the zone, an alternative one, so consistency through the games is a great thing... For me, the biggest let down, is that the zone has really changed enough, it should feel more wild and dangerous, the passage of time should have had a toll, but to me it feels like the game is set 2 weeks after the end of CoP... It just doesnt feel like enough time has passed. And with C-con gone and unable to stop the noospere spilling through the hole the made, the zone should have been warped in crazy to weird... and all the characters are still there for most part, when really, a small number should have remained. The rest dead or left the zone.

NPCs shooting you through walls is a relatively recent bug. I'm fairly certain it was caused by 1.7 and more specifically whatever changes allowed for grass, bushes, etc. to finally be used for visual cover/stealth.

Technically it makes it less responsive too because it consumes more of your resources to generate new frames. So, for example, if you had like 50 fps without framegen and then you use framegen to double them frames you'll get like 40 fps of real performance + 40 fake frames

What do you guys think if the armors and weight system regresses to what they were like in CoP?
For examples:
+Scientist suits and Exoskeletons are the only armors that take your helmet slot.
+SEVA by default is more durable and gives you more resistance to physical damage while giving you less radiation protection than SSP suits.
+All scientist suits have lower(mediocre) durability.
+Exoskeleton/suits weight a ton but give you ton of extra carrying weight.
+As for carrying weight, reduce carrying threshold to 70, allow you to carry like 9.9 kg more before you stop moving.

Imo the armors system we had in CoP was and still is perfect, HoC just combined the 3 games together and now it's weird.
SEVAs used to offer much more protection against bullets but less radiation protection compared to SSP suits, but not far behind and still a lot higher than other suits at that aspect.
Now the SSP 100 exist so it basically the SEVA part 2 but uglier.
