It's happened again; I've lost my friendly reputation/status with Loners, as Rookie Village and Zalissya are now neutral.

I didn't do Sidor's quest this time, I only went to Zaton, did some looting and Gonta's quests. Does shooting Mercs lower rep with Loners? Is there a bug associated with Gonta's quests? What could be going on?

Im on ps5, and my reputation with all factions will sometimes bug out and show something its not. Im at 190 hours

only faction rep that hasnt changed randomly is ward, and that has stayed red lol

Well, unfortunately it seems I won't be able to accurately troubleshoot the issue, but the only two things that I've done that would be unusual would be, well, starting Gonta's quest chain, annnd shooting some of the bandits at the Fish Farm, but only after they've turned hostile. I know I haven't been attacking Loners or anyone neutral to me.

Unless something changed recently, I believe cuirass, shield of duty, and bulwak exo are the three that don't have sprint. Rest do. Duty is a strange one since its the rarest exo in the game lol . Also the worse exo in the game

I feel like witcher has a different feel to it

Stalker is full on a walking sim and traversing the whole map takes a WHILE it feels like a journey to go from duga to the swamps

Meanwhile in velen which is by far the largest well you can go side to side by horse way quicker than in S2 you also have unlimited quick travel and I feel like the world is more condensed as in there are POI's every 30s and nothing absolutely nothing in between

Stalker on the other hand has poi's that are a bit more spread out on average but it also has non marked stuff that is interesting and it has way better environmental challenges/puzzles

Also it has less repeatable locations because it doesnt just have 'kill 5 bandits and loot one chest' poi's

However due to the witcher being way more focused on being an rpg it has superior storytelling

I have been using the Razer Wolverine V3 Pro since it came out last June & at least for my tastes the best controller I've ever had. So first of all, it's a little wider especially towards the top compared to a regular Xbone controller, which I always felt seemed cramped compared to 360. I'd been using its predecessor V2 with extra shoulder buttons for 4 years reliably & then jumped immediately at the opportunity for a wireless one with some solid +4 rear button placement compared to the V2 Chroma I'd ignored, and finally getting rid of potentiometer sticks on the V3 it's been great

Nice software too, can recalibrate in the Xbox app & even use an extra button as "sensitivity clutch" like insta-DPI lower and have found myself very fond of that for keeping generally higher sensitivities on thumbstick (but even at 100% S2 so slow) though still having that great precision for headshots.

Setting up a custom aim curve in S2 is also something I highly recommend, I don't use any aim assist now after really fine-tuning other settings

I will say it's annoying that the Razer controller requires you to fully launch the app to mess with settings & doesn't even necessarily have like one of those Xbox hotbars come up as Spotify does or something. You actually launch the full app and on some games that can even make you leave your session, but never tend to go in the app unless I'm setting up a new profile for something first time, because you can just quickswap between a few saved onto controller firmware with keybinds & I have them all pretty solid for my tastes by now. Ultimately, the controller itself feels so solid and I'm glad they went for more minimalist look instead of the goofier RGB or frankly that screen in the middle of it, if only that could be used for more modular things like imagine it displaying PDA in S2 that'd be sick!

I think what has contributed especially to my V3 bias is that I also hold my controller weird "choked up" with middle fingers on triggers and index on bumpers then my ring & pinkies are on the extra rear buttons, used to claw grip like crazy and think this is derivative of that lol. Now I tend to always remap two of those rear buttons to the sticks because I've come to hate clicking them, think that's from using regular Xbone controllers and feeling like any extra pressure was going to break them to drift sooner

Idk if the new patches fixed my problems with it, but it not only changes the story, but the new additions are amateur at best. And the AI was pretty much stupid. And the graphics imo were just "another grey-ish mod"
