That one and the Bulwark which is a Bulat with an Exo you cant get a sprint upgrade, though I think the easiest Exo to get is Ruby cause its in the Palace of Culture

Not really because it requires higher level techs, costs more to repair (I think), has smaller mags and less damage and the upgrades cost more also it doesnt come with a scope stock

So its the only 5.56 comparable to the clusterfuck but id say its not superior until the end when 99.9% firefights are cqc

The repair costs definitely make the Kharod difficult to use as your main weapon early in the game, at least on higher difficulties. But you can caliber switch it and find the extended mag pretty easy and it's still well worth it even with no other upgrades

I use the Kharod but I personally don't like how it looks in the players hands as much as the Dnipro

I don't know if my game is bugged out in some way, but the farther reaches of the Zone, including Red Forest and Pripyat, really don't feel as dangerous as they should. GSC's got the creepy atmosphere down, but I want to feel like I'm in danger too; I want to be afraid of running into Pseudogiants and Chimeras in the far Zone, and Monolithians too.

Not just the North either, I think the areas to the far East and far West should be just as, or at least nearly as dangerous as the Northern Zone. Also the Cooling Towers region given that it's right next to the CNPP.
