GPU AMD RX 7600 M XT, CPU Intel i7 1195G7, 16 gigs of ram, but I repeat, I have no issue anywhere else in the game. But only when I come at ~100m of flea market it just crashes.

Its always been like this in stalker and most other games to make bolt actions actually useful for something
Even in games like tarkov where 500m shots are possible bolt actions serve absolutely 0 purpose other than larp and this the case in gamma too

Now i use guns that look cool because BBR makes them all relatively effective

I've been using the GP37V2 with a holosun and angled foregrip and it honestly kicks ass

Use it for 20 hours or upgrade to a special AK variant like the drowned
Rush kharod or dnipro
Use that for the rest of the game
Optionally invest into smgs or shotguns

Also god can they like halve the degradation for the vector

Loving the game except one thing, not a fan of how repair works. Is there a mod that lets me repair my gear myself? At least the pistols in orange condition? Just would be more realistic for a stalker to be able to clean and fix his weapons instead of having to run to an npc for repairs

I feel like the first 20 hours you could mostly understand without playing the trilogy, it's more down the road when characters and concepts from the trilogy are introduced that it could get confusing

You could just play shadow of Chernobyl and Clear Sky and get the jist tho, call of Pripyat is good but lore wise it doesn't add much compared to the first 2
