if you are getting the same artifact twice, it's very likely your save is too close to the anomaly field and the artifact is already locked (you may confirm that with getting it a third time) in which case you'll simply have to try your luck in another thermal anomaly field

Yeah you 100% can, i know for a fact that checkpoint is open once you leave lesser zone. You just follow the road east out of Zalissiya til you get to the checkpoint between Lesser Zone and Cordon then follow the one i marked as route A

I think at the moment the flak point of Stalker 2 is the freeroam, feels good but Gamma feels more procedural at the npc and that has a great weigh on immersion, you feel that those npcs are really there and are not just another part of the scenario, with real time conversation with the pda and real names

Gamma a triple modded product most of what you see is either someone's work, or numeral tweaks. Gamma itself didn't do much on its own but rather assembled stuff and made them work together. Hardest stuff were compatibility and engine tweaks mostly.

You don't have to play the Trilogy to play Stalker 2, you just need to learn the story and the important characters. Watch some lore video. If you really want to play trilogy, you can go back to the trilogy after Stalker 2 but waiting to finish all three games before playing Stalker 2 will be a bad experience for you

I don't know about those projects, seems big enough to be a conflictive situation with the Gamma modlist that has like 300 mods, any mod that touch core things related to balance could destroy the modlist and make it crash

But if you want to play Stalker 2, there's no need to play the trilogy unwillingly. Learn lore, play S2. If you want to play trilogy, play it. Radar is a good grind location for mutants. Specially, this will be the first place you encounter mutants that you wouldn't see South. The difficulty increases as you go from north to south, and Radar is a part of that

the bar under Accuracy/Handling/etc. is one way to compare upgrade paths but it's not the only thing you should take into consideration - sometimes two upgrade paths may affect the same bar but they would fundamentally change different things (e.g. recoil recovery or recoil would both affect Handling but they mean different things) so even if the bar is full still pay attention to how it may change weapon feel

The weapon upgrade stuff is pretty vague in its explanation. Also the fact that there is hidden stats doesn't help either. Still I don't like that the Mark 1 EMR has less damage than the bolt action gun. However they share the SAME ammo. Doesn't make sense. I understand "gun balance" and all that, but still.
