I can definitely get that notion of "as the devs intended" for a first-time playthrough and of course had the same experience with S2 for a good idk 750+ hours before mods were available, but my god I have to say after all these hours now over 2000 yeah I'm grateful as hell to have mods especially on Xbox from QoL changes to greater overhauls, I don't think I would be sinking this much time still into vanilla, between feeling like I've seen all of what that vanilla content is, as well as generally not agreeing with all of the devs visions for things (Better Ballistics alone such a game-changer for my tastes) just wanting more to generally diversify & curate my experience roaming the Zone soaking up the atmosphere

I kinda wish that game had more focus on online elements. Helping each other build stuff indirectly is a cool idea but the way structures work in Death Stranding kinda sucks. Like, for example, the fact that they don't actually synchronize the health between the worlds (the same structure from the same player can have different health in your world and their world, it can even be shown as almost destroyed in yours but perfectly fine in theirs...) and the fact that you can give infinite amount of likes to any structure... It kinda removes the meaning of many actions you do in the game, imo

I certainly won’t, I fear going back to the Lesser Zone since the spawn point at the Windmill bugged for me and spawned an actual army of Bloodsuckers near that area where you have to retrieve Bubbles’ body. I know GSC has since fixed that but my spawn point borked before the update and I’m not sure if it’s retroactive.

For real, I’ve seen people say they’re struggling with the economy even on lower difficulties but you can make bank easy enough if you know the stalker recipe/routine of stash and Artifact hunting. There’s places you can get some really OP weapons just lying around the world to collect and they mostly sell for a ton. I just picked up any and all yellow durability weapons, ammo etc from bodies and sold it too.

Honestly I was never a fan of the way dialogues are done in AAA games nowadays (as in: NPCs actually talking to you with voice and you replying to them with your voice). I literally prefer the way it's done in original stalker games where an NPC has a few voicelines and the main character has none, then it's all just text and you read it at your own pace with your own "voices" in your head, if you wish. It was quicker, allowed to put more info and meaning into text, allowed to fix/change stuff as you wish, etc.

Unfortunately that key tends to be thrown by the poltergeist the first time you enter the area so if you can't find it lying around the basement there, could have been thrown into inaccessible area or even through map geometry and you'll need to reload earlier save. They ought to just make key items off-limits for that because this has been a common issue since launch
