The Cuirass at least is not that heavy so you can use it as junk armor, both the Bulwark and Duty Shield weight like 20kg, and the Bulwark is the only one you can get for free but it is in Pripyat.

The Bulwark has better stats than any of the other 2 I mentioned and Ruby.

Seriously, separating armor vest and helmet with the only full body armors being scientist suits and exoskeleton was one of the best changes from CS to CoP, seeing what they do here seem......off.
It's like they were trying to do a composite of SoC/CS and CoP armor systems then messed it up. It is such a downgrade and painful to see what they did to the Berill and Bulat while removing scientist helmets.

@foggy slate the ai has improved, but not as much as @marble gyro may suggest. They do flank and act more aggro, but they still can stand there looking at you until they "trigger", or they hide behind the thinnest cover.
They are more smarter, but not by much.
They still haven't resolved the bugs of npcs wearing nvg during day, and enemies always phase through the ground or other npcs fully or halfway. It's ridiculous when dead bodies spawn behind you or flop in the air. 100% consistent in my 70hr run.
Plus, Master has been in the game since 1.7
Master+ expedition is the hardest difficulty followed by Veteran+.

Well, it's somewhat easy to beat those if you use your environnement. Just run away until you find some group of stalkers and let them do the heavy lifting for you

They'll shoot the clones and you'll be able to easily hunt down the right one

That's not an answer. If you killed the 3 rats and your HUD was still red (like mine)
that would mean you still had a threat to deal with. However, after the three rats,
the threat (HUD is red >orange skull) is NOT a rat and it is not inside the building.
You are not telling me the status of your HUD like I asked or if you had any of the
orange skulls remaining, telling you there is something more than the three rats.
