So gun with 60% base penetration should go up to 90% penetration I believe.
Which is not unreasonable considering there are enemies with 98% armor in the game.

Unfortunately for no explicable reason lol they won't let us rebind any controls on console in-game, I've sent a number of requests for this but no word on that. Though you can use the Xbox accessories setting to switch RS & B, though be aware that changes it on Xbox end so those buttons will be swapped for everything including menu navigation

I still tend to prefer playing on controller but I do keep m+kb plugged in at all times mostly for menu navigation in S2. Lol & consider if you're interested in using the Lootable Zone mod, for a bit now there's a potential bug that prevents you from using the new crafting menu unless you've got a mouse plugged in so another niche reason to have one

Not definitively but it is highly recommended because a bunch of players have been reporting the same bug, the cursor being unusable locked stuck in the upper left corner on the crafting menu, with the only solution being to have a mouse plugged in (even though it still lets you use the thumbstick to control it). Guess there's something about the mouse override and neither the mod Creator nor GSC have been able to pin down exactly what the problem is there yet because it seems to happen on a very individualized basis

This is also true, GSC has not yet made it possible to bake-in item name & description language localization directly to mods, so all of the items in Lootable Zone on console currently have names & descriptions like SID_ITEMS_KPBROKENHEADLAMP_NAME whereas on PC it is possible to manually install the necessary localization pack for your language, but there's nothing can be done for console until GSC makes this doable for mod creators to do within the SDK. I just submitted a mod that someone here made for me to be ported, makes the Weird Water have its old rad resistance properties pre patched, and gets rid of the drunk effect.

I miss the old Weird Water, I do permadeath runs sometimes (or Ironman as some call it) and bee lining it to the WW as soon as the map opens was my go-to strategy lol. If it only does weak or medium rad resist now, that's almost heartbreaking.

Carry weight is still nice but the rad resist was no joke. Could literally have the WW equipped with all max radiation artifacts and take no rads. Basically immune to all radiation except the immediate death zones.

That is still a thing, though still makes it more something you'd keep in your stash and use alongside each one or just carry with you, whereas for keeping in slot its regular hunger debuff effect isn't that great for the trade-offs upon consumption of anything. All of the weird artifacts tend to lend themselves better to that, like something you use in a specific case while you've got one of your regulars unequipped, but none of them are really worth just keeping on constantly imo

Yeah true. The weird ball and the blue flower are okay early game when you have nothing else, but they fall off fast. And like the blue flower you basically dont notice it's effects. Plus the fact it slowly deteriorates after sleeping.

For my permadeath runs I grab the ball as soon as possible cuz the odd time I make a small mistake and die there lol

Makes me question why I bother grabbing it but I must collect all the things

I do find the ball has a certain usefulness because it converts incoming damage to stamina gained, allowing you to potentially get to cover in moments whereas otherwise you would have ran out of breath I mean as long as you survive the incoming rounds lol

The quests in itself are alright, it just feels in a weird place difficulty wise. Having a T3 mechanic as early as leaving the lesser zone seems great but it's probably gonna be difficult getting it done without decent gear
