1. Reload animations
2. Fixing jam animations
3. Aiming animations
   All are too slow, no agency, like WTF, imagine you being ambushed by 5 bandits each can kill you within seconds, you pull your 🐔 out like 🐢

Hello, I have a few questions about the new modding guidelines.
I don't know where would be the right place to ask this, so sorry if this is the wrong channel for such a question.

As I understand it, these new modding guidelines also apply to the original trilogy, correct?

Regarding standalone mods: If I understand correctly, there was a period towards the end of 2024 when it was mandatory to include links to the original games and a disclaimer.

Unfortunately, I don't understand the exact regulation and haven't received a response from the legal team yet.

If I create a standalone mod for, say, Shadow of Chernobyl or Clear Sky, am I required to include this disclaimer in the game?

Am I no longer allowed to create standalone mods at all, and must all mods now require the base game?

Would it be sufficient to create an installer that checks the registry for one of the original titles, or a similar verification method?

Or is it still okay to create standalone mods as long as they include a disclaimer and links to the original games?

I am not a native english speaker, so the new rules seem a little vague and hard to understand to me.

yes, I have the problem (and many others as a matter of the fact), please do a bug report, this provides GSC with more data to work with. I assume (and I'm the worst person to ask tbh) the problem is due to the serialized gamestate of 1.6 being incompatible with the functions/blueprints working on that data in 1.7+ and 1.7+ is unable to update the serialized data. I assume this since a new game (fresh save) doesn't have this problem.

I do agree with you that especially now after deadzone fixes it's much better to play with no auto aim, especially if you can tweak the custom aim curve to values preferable for you. Auto aim has more often screwed me instead of helped me with its implementation here
