Personally I like the idea of harder gameplay but feel like Better Ballistics Redux along with some other mods is giving me a better version of what I wanted Master to be anyway, especially one devoid of the poor save system. IMO that top Master difficulty should be focused more on providing a more challenging experience in its entirety instead of some changed economy & damage values + adding this arbitrary layer of challenge in the pseudo iron-mode save system that adds challenge in just making you play the same segment again and be subjected to the same issues that led to your demise. The optional removal of expedition mode from Master difficulty is a step in the right direction as far as modularity goes and I'm hoping those rumors about official scalable difficulty settings are true

Yeah, definitely an oversight that you don't start the game with one nor is there necessarily one easily accessible right away, traders may have them in their inventory but I found in having Shay's Living Zone Gold installed with NPC interactions baked into that, trading with some random stalker had one soon as I got to Zalissya

Ah I see how you mean and agreed with that sentiment feel like I must make some distinction, between selling all of the gear available to you and artifact hunting, it's very possible to end up drowning in koupons with nothing to really spend them on past a point. And feels silly to do a job for the bartender for less than the price I can sell all of the loot I got from the guys I killed on said job. But also in terms of mission rewards, it makes your efforts feel less meaningful when the payouts can't rival what's possible from just looting and selling everything. I think stash rewards being mostly randomized beyond mission-specific ones, especially those that contain high value items, would be a great addition to Master difficulty.

Not really big on multiplayers, but the one game I do enjoy playing with others was Deep Rock Galactic
