With each patch, the game gets a little better, but not all of the new changes are truly necessary. Instead of focusing on optimization, A-Life, and new quests, the developers add new anomalies and other minor things.
Every time after a major patch, I read in the patch notes that A-Life is definitely working this time, that NPCs now live happily ever after, and so on. But we still haven't gotten a fully functional system. NPCs still spawn in locations after you clear them. There are still a lot of bugs related to character behavior.
And there are very few side quests, and those that exist are far inferior in quality to those in Call of Pripyat. I really hope that after moving to a new engine, and whatever else, the developers will pay more attention to A-Life and side quests, especially for the second half of the game.

I don’t got a powerful enough pc to run gamma like I wanted to, so I turned to stalker 2 which I could stream from a 5080 on GeForce.. the atmosphere was killer, was really liking what I was seeing especially playing on master with immersive mode enabled. But like 50 minutes in and every crate I broke I could SEE the item popping into existence…. And that also happened with a dog i fought and another idk what ugly monster, looked away to run and once I looked back to shot they glitched out like they were respawning or something and it was extremely immersion breaking. Is this the game after a year of fixes? Am I doing something wrong? Cause for real already asked for a refund I’m not ruining my experience on a buggy mess. The question is am I doing something wrong and should I cancel the refund or is it really like this
