I'll just say that original system had some capabilities to spawn stalkers on the background far away from the player, no matter where he is (you can clearly notice that in CS where squads could be spawned on cordon while you are doing stuff on army warehouse). Stalker 2, feels like, spawns NPCs like 200m away from the player, because it always feels very fake, especially when you run through an empty road and then you decide to go the other way around only to find out that what was an empty road before has two squads fighting each other. Stuff like that, yeah

There is one thing I don't understand about Skif. In that cut scene with Agatha and Herman in SIRCA, she basically gives him a way out, but he decides to stay for the experiment. Like why bro? When you find the real one, accept taking damage in order to deal a bit more. Just go all you can.

Detection Option:

  • Shoot those further away first
  • You can easily see the real one when it spawns new clones
  • Some people claim clones don't scratch themselves when in hiding as a response to you being unreachable. Not sure if that is true.

As soon as you hide on a higher elevation, distinction becomes difficult imho because clones hide the same way.

It was a very tough fight for me, too.
