The biggest misconception in Stalker is that somehow a suit providing psi rad protection = immune to psi rad.
Not it doesn't, it just takes longer for the negative effects to occurs, the higher the psi protection the longer it takes, apparently with armor/suit you can only get a maximum of a little bit higher than 3 bars.
Psylock do 2 thing :
1)remove negative psi rad effects you currently have
2)give you more protection against psi rad for a limited time
but remember staying in the psi rad zone or being attack by controllers and the effect of the pill slowly disintegrated, even fighting illusions make it worth, checking their "corpses" also give you the same effect.

I went to Red Forest, to claim the Dnipro in that bunker with the Controller.
First time. I was wearing a PSZ-5V and a Tactical Helmet.
I popped the only Psi-Block I had, and cleared that bunker with an AK by the time the effects wore off, and the phantoms came out.
Went back, on another run.
This time, already wearing a Falcon.
Still had to use Psi-Block because armor actually doesn’t resist shit

3) More contents, especially mid to late games and areas that are empty, lacking.
4) Spark Exos.
5) Ward full body armor.
6) Redesign to the Operator Exoskeleton, give it the same design that Brummbar, Liberty, Cuirass, Diamond use.
7) Make Exosuits(not exoskeleton) and Cuirass exoskeleton actually viable, not some trash junk armor.

Assuming you stick to main and side quest and don't scavenging around the map hoarding late game guns, is this a good plan?
Pistol:Early stick to the Korra as soon as you get your hand on it,switch to a ABSP/Rhino when you have the chance.
Shotgun: don't use shotgun until you find a SPSA 14 or a Saiga(both you can find pretty soon actually)
AR: early game stick Valik AK then switch to Forra or GP37, mid game switch to 9x39 guns, late game to Dnipro/Kharod.
Sniper: early game just use Mosin then switch to Strider sniper for the whole game , use M701 for bosses.
Rocket and Gauss are for cheesing.

My fave shotgun is in fact the predator, if you time your reloads well you'll never be in that awkward situation where you have to reload while under attack

money is easily fixable by finding artifacts, in pripyat you can get a 20< rnd mag, so if you use them rip slug rounds you can take down mutants in seconds
