Shay's is pretty vanilla friendly. It's a bit overkill for me, but it can be dropped in and dropped out of your game with no ill effects at any time.

Yes, but problem is that AI is coded to 'sectors', so if you move around the map, the spawns won't be as many. You have to remain relatively in the same area for enemies to actually start showing up in any quantity.

afaw is a bit more radical in how it changes things, it makes the zone more unpredictable, definitely more active, but also brings some other changes that I personally don't vibe with (like overworld spawns for mutants) and you need a removal mod if you were to ever remove it on an in progress game

Yeah sometimes the game just gives out after running high settings for so long which is why I recommend tuning down a bit. The game and the engine is still in early development which is why they are updating the engine soon in the future. But that’s all the knowledge I have on the situation at the moment. it's honestly a challenge to damage your CPU with an OC profile unless you severally botch the numbers which even then it probabaly wont boot ATP and you just do a CMOS reset

CPU oc is kinda a waste though unless you're just doing it for fun most oc value comes from doing a decent ram profile or certain gpus like the 4070 super/7900gre
and even then in regards to ram tuning you cant really get "tons" if you're on am5 you essentially have to just buildzoid your timings as low as possible at 6000/6200/6400 since running it at 1:2 with 8000mts and tuned timings is kinda a waste since itll essentially end up the same as a ~6000mts profile exept for some boards that can do like 8600+

also Intel CPUs won't break because of being OCd they will behave the same as any other ordinary CPU the main Intel drama was originally oxidation with I believe 13th gen CPUs near the beginning of their lifespan the was amended and could be warrentied and then the poor microcode for raptor lake/refresh which was amended with bios/firmware updates and any degraded CPUs could be warrentied and the replacement would be fine if you were running the updated bios
