i know of multiple games that are for windows, but not for linux. on the steam forums, the same 10 linux users are complaining on every forum for linux support. its a drag seeing them appear whenever, and then they start harassing the developer when he says there wont be linux users. i mean. if only 10 out of a million players use linux, then why put effort into it. not every game is easily ported.

in the Original the game kept track of the Stalkers within the zone, you can even see this in the game play as the assassinate objective would light a specific stalker up in your PDA and you could see him moving in the map
in Stalker 2 this doesnt happen

Stalker 2 you can force load and deload the chunks to test this, for example, finding a NPC and directly flying upward until the chunks are deloaded, if the NPC Persistance was a thing, the NPC would still be there, but as soon as you descend the NPC is gone, bc it was deloaded
NPC are loaded outside of your view
