rads are the least of your problems. you need a minimum PSI protection to even enter it, otherwise you enter too many random PSI pockets that keep attacking you with red boars

first time i entered the red forest and queried about it, everyone said it was a bug. nope, red forest is just that hostile of an environment

At certain coordinates, Bloodsuckers and NPCs are crowding together in the same spot.
To fix this kind of bug, should I delete my save file and start a new game?

i thought it were my mods causing this somehow. i do notice alot of less loot popping up. like. i shoot npc's, their weapons fall to the ground, and sometimes i just literally cant find it

but i do have a mod that adds more bushes and trees n such. maybe the game fails to handle extra assets beyond hte scripted ones, and it falls under the new grass textures

firstly, headshots arent easy when there are 5 people shooting at you and knocking ur scope off, but it does make it easier
the game does throw meds at you, but you also need to use them every time someone shoots at you coz everything does so much damage

Literally just play smart and you’re fine. Use cover and you’re not gonna have 5 guys knocking your scope around which in turn makes headshots easier which in turn reduces enemies looking at you which repeats the loop

Oh its still useful, but yeah, as soon as you're out the lesser zone, its Mosin all the way. That being said, you get the Special in Cordon, an thats probably the biggest NG power boost avaliable, at least outside of the SVD, but you only get enough ammo for that to make the Sphere easier

sometimes you can't find cover, sometimes you come across a merc/ward patrol and you've got 7 dudes shooting you in the middle of a field

Well there is a reason, because you can get it just by exploring. It's the "mid game" option before you get a better one, which 95% of the time, wont be till Pripyat

I do think the Diamond being avaliable when it is is a strange choice tho

but in general it does not matter.
events are locked to the path you took up to that point.
either spark or ward.
siding with noon would only push you further towards spark.
