Aye, for Psi protection your best bet is always some form of Seva. Helmets are nice, but you lose a lot by wearing a normal suit, not to mention the huge lack of options mid to late game

You know... there was a time, when reports about spawning NPC's right in front of you was never a situation that I had to deal with.

Then after some patches this problem should have been fixed and I thought "nice for those who had this problem", right?

Nowadays after especially those patches which should have fixed it, I have to deal with such situations and I'm going crazy right now.

I am in Prypiat right now and I do explore buildings as soon as I realize I can enter them -> I like that a lot!

I was in a big building and there was nothing going on, but in the next moment a Zombie spawned right of me - and I killed him as fast as I spotted him, but the next moment there were 3 of them to my left. The next moment there were maybe 10 or 15 of them including 2 Commanders!
WTF-Moment, that's for sure!

But that only one situation of a lot.
Bloodsuckers ... what the hell is going on sometimes!
I'm not sure if there are "sometimes" 3 upto 5 of them and that's a "regular" thing, or if they are just re-spawning so fast that it seems like there are 3 upto 5 of them?

What are your experiences?

I’ve played with BB, before. It just never hurt this bad.

Skif needs armor buffs.
I’m really tired of everyone else having the same shit that I do, but obviously it’s better than mine.

It’s like everyone blows all their AP rounds on me, and has maxed out armor.

But by the time I loot them, it’s standard ammo, and some bread.

The enemies have always felt jacked.

Well I'll put it like this... In my current playthrough I'm running a Mosin and the Kord .45 pistol, the only things I can't straight up delete with the pistol are exo troopers or those with the absolute heaviest non-exo armour

An you won't be eating more than a couple of shots in the early game with BB installed, thats just the mod making the guns behave like guns. If you're only at the sphere, you're essentially wearing a jacket whilst fighting military dudes. Ofc they're gonna tank more rounds than you are. It wont take long before you've got an armour set that puts you on the same level as them, at which point you're tougher to kill than most bandits are, even if its only like one more round you can tank over them

You can find armor with a fairly high physical defense pretty early on which helps tank an extra shot or 2 with BB

Enemies will always go down easy tho with BB just gotta play it slow and steady and make sure you’ve got the right gun for the right situation

Thats fair, its not particularly impressive statistically, but it is both easy to get in the early game and keeps the challenge up in the lategame, which i admit, I quite enjoy

Ending up in an Exo with good artifacts makes you super tanky by endgame, even with Better Ballistics so I purposely use early game armour all the way through

It also limits your power potential regarding artifacts because no lead slots and only three basic ones to leverage

I already had might nightmare twice with the Monolith apartment in Pripyat, so I tend to pass on that.

TBF...military armour should have more ballistic protection than in vanilla...it's just too low for a genuine anti-ballistic suit.

But yea, I tend to switch to that when I get it early-game, before the Freedom armour.

Its kinda more of a soft armour vest than some of the later armours, but it is a little weird the military style dudes are'nt jacked with equipment

Ofc thats probably more a result of their position of being an early game group

You do see them in Pripyat as a result of A-Life/A-Life mods every now an then, but they're only a threat if you have mods like Better Ballistics

Duty should be having extreme armour, Spark should be having extreme anomalous protection and Freedom should be mid-ground.

Either NPC needs a PEN debuff, or Skif’s standard ammo needs a PEN buff/AP needs to be more abundant.

Because these NPCs are shooting rounds I just don’t have.

BB is where things get spicy and most of the spice comes from the 100% accuracy with buck-shot from 100 metres...that's the real FML moment.
