I feel like psi radiation isn’t that big in stalker2, I mean there are actually a few anomaly sites that emit psi radiation, but other than that it’s just the controller fights both in the campaign and scattered around the map

With the right suit you can negate psi damage altogether, you’ll still have to deal with the ghosts though

Then again if psi radiation was more common that would get annoying fast

I used the Bulat for a LOOOONG time, as it was relatively cheap to repair compared to many other suits with similar levels of protection. Now, with anti-rad artifacts also reducing wear and tear, I'd go with exos and stuff sooner.

However I liked CoP because there was more replay ability without starting a new save

In SoC and CS, once you go to an area, there’s no reason to go back

And the game is leading you forward, it’s bad for your money and resources to stay in one region

But in CoP, returning to POIs has its benefits

And the game recommends you go back to Zaton to do jobs for beard, which is really good for earning money

I’m pretty sure once you get to Pripyat, more quests unlock in Jupiter and Zaton too,

No there’s not really any rewards except for actually winning the war for each faction. I think you get better suits and a gun the more you do

Factions tend to be more useful for the their day to day rather than their beliefs. Guarding the Barrier is noble, and keeping Rostok a secure trading hub is great for everyone. Blind dog raids aside.

TBF, Yaniv is kind of a relatively hostile zone (in both CoP and S2) compared to other areas in the older games, so it only makes sense that even Shulga has to accept it as-is.

Actually...the Zone seems to like Bandits, since they seem to never go away and unlike other factions who keep running into problems with the Zone...the Bandits seem to make use of the Zone (like making enslaved stalkers go through anomalies for artifacts) pretty well.

Maybe the Zone supports Bandits so as to help them drive everyone else out? 😏

When I played DAyZ back in the day (before it was standalone game, but just mod for arma) It was thinking to my self -this gameplay woudl be perfect if this was taking place in the zone - In the stalker universe. And then COC came out and its basically that, but singleplayer.

Strelok can't do much considering the Monolith was turned on by Dalin...and I'm actually confused how, even after he shut it down, it remained active.

Because Dalin literally DOES turn it off after Skif's episode and yet, during the experiment, you can hear the Monolith calling to Strider and the others. Unless the Generators are a bigger Monolith, which...well, also doesn't make sense.

Then Dalin did the experiment in X-11 and re-activated t hundreds of times stronger due to the power of the Generators. He basically took the Monolith and amplified the power by mistake. Which, as I explained above, doesn't make any sense.
