I admit I still do have issue with the guns balance in this game(like how an AK 74S shooting 5.45 do way less DMG than a Vector with 9mm) I do understand why it's necessary GSC make it this way.
Imagine, you start you just start new game and since the AK do the exact same DMG as the ARs you find in the late game, you die in 2-3 hit due to how bad your armor is at the time.

I've noticed that the stalkers don't really pick up weapons themselves. They only pick them up when looting the guy that has owned the weapon before dying. If the corpse is gone (despawned or moved to inaccessible place) - the weapon stays on the ground, just like in SoC and CS. Some of my POIs have so many of these that they are starting to stack in some places...

Does the game have a system for cleaning dropped weapons or will they stay on the ground forever?

Yeah It was more grounded than say, half-life 2 or other shooters at the time. The guns shoot projectyles with ballsitic curve, they richonet, you have firemodes and leaning - heck in early versions grenades even had srapnels ( calculated as projectyes with their ballistic trajectory ) The paradox is that many games got inspired by this groundedness outside of mil sims and took it in to new extremes, leaving the vanilla OG stalkers in the dust as far as gunporn goes.

So I’ve played the whole trilogy before stalker 2 so I know about AP ammo obviously, but despite that I still don’t know what AP ammo does statistically speaking, in the trilogy it just seems like it does more damage, but in stalker 2 I find myself needing the same amount of ammo to kill an enemy type whether it’s ball ammo or AP ammo. So what does AP ammo do in stalker 2? Is there an armor stat that some enemies have that the ammo specifically deals with?

I wouldnt mind if GSC released Master difficulty later and it was at the same time what Harcore ranger is for metro series. Everything and player included does a lot more damage therefore you have to be a lot more tactical. But for that they would have to make the enemies stop drilling holes in to players forehead at 50m full auto. I mean I can bearly hit them with a scope in single shot mode and they are just holding the trigger till the mag is empty and it all lands more or less. They would need to be more like enemies in old Ghost Recon. Positioning and shooting in singleshots untill you are really close.

It's simply you hide behind the vehicles while it sucks and then run for the artifact then run back to cover again. If you don't do that and get exposed to the suck pull, you'll get your hp swallowed and die before getting pulled in some cases

I'm pretty sure it's not a bug. Navigating that anomaly requires some strategy. Even the entering point needs to be calculated in order to always find yourself in cover mode (ofc you need to crouch and I hope you are aware of that). The anomaly have a breathing logic, so when it's pulling air, you hide, and when it stops, you run toward your objective and count the next pull time to make it back to cover in time. It's really simple

Regardless, I still don't get how getting "pulled" drains your health. It would make more sense if it made you lose stamina faster than anything in the game, eliminating your ability to run and causing you to fall into the anomaly. The lack of pain noises or visual effects make it cognitively dissonant as well. I guess this must be some one-of-a-kind gravitational anomaly that also sucks out your will to live without relying on psionic effects.

I just have a bone to pick with the same game that expected me to figure out that the passcode for the stash in the Telecom Station is on some dead Dutier whose body can despawn despite carrying a unique item, lies in an out-of-the-way radioactive and acidic ditch, and is never mentioned or hinted at by anyone at the Cement Factory, surrounding camps, or notes about the stash itself.

Oh, and said body/ditch is 600 meters northwest of the stash, bordering on being in a different region of the map altogether.

If an important dead NPC got despawned, it's clearly a bug and as far as my exp goes, I never encountered such case. I also know that most stash or code puzzles are intact hinted either in text or voice recordings, so I'm pretty sure something is being missed on your part, or again, maybe a bug. If it's the latter, best you can do is reporting it

I avoided cheating the stash at all costs, because I hate simply being given answers to game puzzles unless I'm short on time or the puzzle/mystery itself is poorly designed. There was nothing in the stash note, surrounding stashes, or on the bandits that occupy the Telecom Station that indicated what happened to the codes, nor is there any mention of a "Dutier who wandered off by himself" by anyone at Cement Factory. Unless there's some in-Ukrainian graffiti or inscription by the safe I'm supposed to be able to read as a clue.

yeah so there are three different arrays of screens around the room, he has to be within that third of it close there with you when you press the button, and you have to do it all 3 times across the circular room
