Edit 2: Probably my last edit cause I ain't playing this hot piece of ass no more. It makes my stomach churn. The audio is completely messed up and footsteps are barely audible if they are audible. I didn't include the change of default keybinds at first, cause you can change it so it's whatever, but changing the running from X to shift and then have to the 2 level crouch while pressing CTRL + X is diabolical. Stalker 2's lumen is by far the worst lumen even in an unreal game

Lumen is not the reason the game runs terrible, lumen actually is pretty well optimized in Unreal. I couldnt tell you why lumen looks so bad in stalker 2, but it looks far better in other games, such as Avowed (which runs better than S2), Expedition 33 (which runs WAY better than S2), even oblivion remastered has better lumen even though the game itself runs bad

On its core that engine is build for 1 massive open world with smaller instances (dungeons etc) They tried to make it so its 50ish big instances so we end up with endless loading screens on everything. In games like Skyrim and Fallout loading screens arent as disruptive so its fine honestly but starfield you need to move between instances so many times its just too disruptive to flow
