Your mods most likely werent uninstalled when restarting. What i did was delete all of the game files manually and then verify integrity in steam

they use the 100m render as a trigger for scripts, if u come in 100m of a script node it runs it. increasing render means activating all scripts u pass in x range

the bubble spawner also spawns in render, 100m circle around player is much easier to fill with kuchalifekuch than it is with a 500m radius one
so the issue would be 5x more events could happen and cook fps

turn on godmode, go to a map border, wait, it will spawn ALIFE outside map 
increasoing the bubble means the game can spawn outside map if say your render is 500m but you are 200m from outside border wall
well so they invisible event structure which is around you and no matter what it will triggers based on land/building etc
there is no check in place to see if spawnpoint is valid or not (hence the spawns at places u just been)
its a generic spawner in a radius around you that triggers every x minutes atm
where x = about 4 minutes right now in vanilla

that clip is from old testing of my mod where we pushed spawns to about 500 and we tested ranges of render all the way to 3.5km

i got ambushed and they don't just mindlessly walk towards u anymore, they stay at range shooting

i also think people wildly overestimate how much it actually impacts the game, since they cite gamma of all things as having "good simulation" 
for me, the moving hitboxes when the enemy is running sideways does not respond the actual spot to aim.

I don't think it's anything special, it's overrated just because it's called STALKER. and although it has potential for the future, from the story to the map, there are things I just don't like.
That's putting it mildly.
The economy doesn't work, the enemies are terminators and tanks, and I've seen tropical rainforest with less bugs; also, there's just not enough content in terms of side quests and the like, and the radiant stuff is equal parts RNG and useless.
I was once insane enought to buy the fallout76 CE with the helmet into real size... aside of taking dust no further value

I still believe the reason we’re getting so few updates is because the development team is split working on the DLCs — something that’s been happening throughout the entire development. It really makes you think how much damage some executives can cause.

correct, we tested multiple set ups on multiple rigs for performance after release, peaking at 500 spawns per minute capped at 800 max spawns in a bubble of 3.5km around player. it was only then that we got performance issues.

the reason was: game does not unload actors when spawned in as guards for hubs, bundled with the max vanilla of 40 actors it caused memory problems since guards would stay and they wouldnt despawn but the 40 actor cap was reached

snork took 2 shotgun shells with sledgehammer at medium range and the i-frame effect on their roll animation seems to have been toned down

a-life consist of 2 things;
- the simulation of the zone and its inhabitants -> who goes where, does what,...
- the simulation of combat engagements (combat ai) -> this is what is changed
