It's quite strange that they haven't fixed Stalker 2 yet, but they're also working on the original trilogy. They should focus all their efforts on Stalker 2 to make it a perfect game and not re-release the OG trilogy to make more money (They can do it later). And I'm not writing this as a hater, I love the Stalker series and have been playing since I was a kid, but their approach to Stalker 2 is insufficient and sad for me. Does anyone else feel the same way?

Penetration was how much damage the weapon did through armor

IE exoskeleton enemies were hard to kill, penetration helped kill faster. Damage is more of damage done to unarmored targets

really nice new changes, i just wish the damage was more realistic and the mutants wouldnt jerk arround evading all the bullets and also the 100m load distance increase would also add alot to the gameplay.

penetration caused issues with ai and with the player, it was hard to balance with certain weapons and then certain bullets between different weapons, for simplicity sake this stat is almost outright removed and simplified, as a replacement handling is introduced to incentivize using different guns with handling instead of pen (also because 100 meter render, what u wanna pen? dont matter, most engagements are 50-70m range)

again: mutants have no internal hunger meter dictating when they eat, its a node with a contextual action and that node gives off data that allows mutants to go eat.
the mutant itself does not decide when its hungry enough to eat

in comparison: humans have needs meter that when full makes them do the need, mutants have none of that
