does anyone else get redonkulous amounts of crashes after finishing the whole SIRCAA section

I didn't really get any beforehand and now it's an every 5-10 minutes thing

Yes - while i don't remember if crashes AFTER finishing were a particular issue, I absolutely recall the SIRCAA section suddenly bringing major performance issues. I went from smooth as butter performance to crashing, fps drops galore, persistent stutter, etc. But once I got outta there I was pretty much back to smooth sailing.

Duty are not anti-soviet or whatever, they are a russian-coded paramilitary.
Freedom does not represent "peaceful ideas", they're far-left anarchists.
Bandits&Mercenaries don't represent greed or what else, bandits are caricatures of the real slavic criminal culture and mercenaries are in part inspired by Chechen wars.

there is no message in SoC, but it does feel political, it becomes obvious why if you consider the context in which it was created.
Development materials for SoC are filled with cultural references and actual real events of 00s Ukraine, factions are not something the writers made up, there was a wide anarchist movement in postsoviet countries, there was a pro-russian sentiment among the military, and there was a lot of criminals.

They literally just transposed what they saw happening around the country onto the game.

Hi. I have a question. I just started yet another playthrough, this time in Ukrainian but subtitles (at least in opening cutscene) are not aligned with UA voiceover. Dialogue with Herman is ok, but part with truck in the beginning beginning is messed up. Subs appear too late and since i kinda can understand some words or phrases it is bothering. I blame the older version of Unreal Engine 5.1 that they are using. It is well reported to have had most of the crashing and performance issues that have been fixed in newer versions. This and the launch version of 5.0 for UE5 were very prone to memory leak issues for example.

First it had Bandits. Then some Loners moved in.
Later, I met my first Freedom squad there.
Then it was occupied by Duty for a while.
The big surprise was when the Mercs moved in.

Does not mean it will be the same later.

The Ballistic Helmet was on a dead I.P.S.F. soldier near the Northern Checkpoint. The Mark 1 EMR was dropped by an enemy at Pol Depot.

Need to remember though, there’s maybe only a handful of the dev team that worked on the OGs that also worked on s2, if even that many? It’s still a Stalker game and from what I’ve played so far it still feels like a Stalker game, just a more modernised one. Okay - I got "only" a 3090 Ti and the frames in the openworld slightly increased as well from 120 max to ~150fps.

I think ... I should re-activate my Nexus-Mods account.

I'm trying to figure out where to start, because I made 2-3 tweaks on Windows as well, but they are more my Basic-Settings, how ever - performance before and after is just different and all the mods I found didn't really worked for me, so I started to edit the Engine.ini a lil bit.

Remember - even with Task-Killer your CPU is as well calculating everything in the backround, against 7950X3D as well as 9950X3D, which has the second CCD for that.😉
