What I would really like to see in S2 is more playing with space-time continuum aspect, thus giving us an echo of Chernobyl tragedy. For example, what could a "star" anomaly in the Star Kindergarten in Pripyat look like:
A combination of physics and time, so the anomaly is spatio-temporal.
The core of the kindergarten is constantly being destroyed and reassembled, while Skif hears temporary echoes - when the kindergarten is intact, children's voices and laughter are heard, when it is destroyed - children's screams, wailing and crying. The only thing that helps is a psi-blockade. So the tactic would be - you approach, you take pills to secure your mind, you hunt for artifacts, feeling horror and saddness all the time. That would be a lot more and a lot deeper than the usual "physics only" anomalies we encounter.

Up early playing with commentary. *Weapon attachments particularly the scope system needs to be fixed. If it has a rail it should go on unless it’s an AKM (side mounting) The end game needs to be “free roaming” until DLCs drop. Nigh Vision (nods) also also needs to be added. This game has a lot of potential and replay value for the next 5-10 years if the developers / mods tighten up. The continuous replay value should be up there with GTA… There’s no reason why it shouldn’t.

It is ridiculous you can dump a mag into an enemy in the latter half of the game with just about any AR and it doesn’t kill them. Only headshot and even then it takes 2-4 sometimes. Crazy unbalanced imo

Grom S-15 is pretty good with AP ammo. But I’m tired of using same weapons constantly because of this balance issue.

Game Framerate goes to 15fps when getting close to NPCs with missions etc
As the title says, the game runs perfectly for me at Epic settings, 2160p, DLSS Quality on a 4090.

The game keeps 90-120fps at all times.

HOWEVER, whenever I get close to an NPC that has missions etc (not random A-Life NPCs) so like approaching Richter, the game suddenly crashes down to 15fps, then when I finish talking with them and move away its back to 100+fps.

Any idea what is causing this? Any workaround?

hey people, i haven't played the game for a while now (around 2 to 3 months), mostly because i'm waiting for it to cook a little while longer; i have a question for anyone who might be in the know: are we ever going to get the reputation back like in the original? i think this is one of my main pet peeve with it so far, everything i do within the zone feels like it has little consequences with the factions. has that changed since release at all?

Nah. It does have a rep system tho. If the rep is too low, but you sided with the ward for example, older spawns will just wary of you, and some might shoot you if you already came across them before that point, but quest ones will simply be reset

I made a mistake once and entered a restricted segment before being allowed to do so. However, I avoided killing any npcs and then left. Next time I went there, the 1 or 2 npcs shot at me, while the other ones didn't. The explanation for that, is that I was seen by them and they remembered the encounter. Perhaps the whole thing needs to get a reset, but you can still kill them without really getting into trouble anyway

The exploration is so neat but God damnit the stuttering combined with the slowness and clunkiness combined with the insane health of everything in the game made it so unfun to play sometimes

The dialogue/exposition is also not great but I can let it slide

I'm looking for command-lines implemented into UE5 which are used for Stalker 2, to adjust the ration of Ingame- to RealTime cycles.

I did this on Red Dead Redemption 2, because the mods I was able to find weren't matching my interests.

I want 4hrs in real-time for the day-cycle and 1hr of real-time for the night-cycle.

The game has internal the following rule on how the cycles are implemented with the break of dawn and evening like this:

04:00 - 06:00 Dawn
06:00 - 20:00 day
20:00 - 00:00 evening
00:00 - 04:00 night

I already changed it to:
04:00 - 08:00 dawn
That's the only change and I can further adjust how the day- and night-cycle is reflected onto real-time cycles - okay, but this is as well adjusting the night-cycle and I want that excluded!

Maybe someone is able to log the code, to see the right commandlines to do that?

There're Mods for Longer Days, but they always increase the night-cycles 1:1!

The regular commandline for it is:
RealToGameTimeCoe = X
The devider is 1:24 that means f.e. "6" would result into 4hrs in our real-time for the day-cycle and night-cycle.

here, this one does what u ask. it allows the curve for day and night to be adjusted to have longer days while dividing your daylength in a certain amount for days and a certain amount for night

I would like to have the ability to space walk like in sc maybe do some repairs on the ship when being outside, landings on earth like planets etc. Better on foot combat or new content. Its a small dev team but they improved alot over the last year. At least its fully released and u keep ur stuff its incredibly grindy aswell so theres a big learning curve for new players still.

And i got like over 1500hours in it. Still not finished in any way.

I have just finished playing Split Fiction and I have realized that Stalker 2 lacks these "wow" moments for a modern game, you say, but it is different it is about depth and exploration and I say it is also lacking in this aspect
