what they do is that they keep their locations in memory, and when you are loading into a level they select the nearest AI Node and spawn him there, the Spawn node has height information but their location in save doesnt

there are for instance alife interrupts for quests and blockers so you could stop alife during those and then give it new info for its logic to repopulate the world based on the new info like pausing during sircaa and post sircaa depending on choices it would repopulate based on that

There are acceptable instances of removing control from the player, such as being blown off your feet by explosions, but that which Bloodsuckers have where one floors you an the other beats the sh@t out of you whilst you're down, an Controller's being able to loop you in a never-ending cycle of "f*ck your aim and ability to fight back" are both utterly terrible design choices

Makes both of them mutants you just don't wanna engage with which isnt how enemies should be

i pretty much got access to Jupiter today right, then i visited like, 3 locations in there and then went straight for Prip lol, helped fend off the monolith and then went to the big market near to clear it out of loot for some money and the extended SVU mag

the Gauss gun is really nice lol, mostly just feels appropriate for mutants though given the SVU can do people in just fine.

during my first run i practically did not use it UNTIL i got the unique one past the point of no return lol. i just found it really heavy

like it's 7kg alone and then the ammo. didn't feel appealing but it's actually kinda practical to just take out heavy mutants with.

that 1 shot saves me more on repairs if i were to use the Saiga and also saves me potential armor repair too
